Well college is a big ass joke now more than ever thanks to the online learning switch. Forking out several thousand just to take classes online, which by the way, most of that shit you won't actually use in the world at your job unless your going for some highly specialist field (Doctor/Lawyer/Teacher/Scientist). Oh and thanks to the virus once your tossed out with that "paper" your in competition with loads of other people all with the same "paper" all trying for the jobs. So the gain is moot. Unless you need certifications in America that have a bachelor's degree as a prerequisite to become a financial advisor like in Canada (the CFA), the only compelling reason to go to uni for finance is if the institution has a good alumni network and you milk that shit for all it's worth. I made the mistake of not networking because I'm an autist, and now I'm working in construction. Working towards the CSC cert though, fingers crossed.
