Why is this board so fucking retarded? Most people don't even have 1/10th of that
Are you too retarded to put your money to work?
>1 million Dollar is nothing
Could you post your plan to manage 1 million dollars
one million is nothing. if you compare yourself to plebs you are one.
I'd buy the rights to the crunchwrap supreme and change the world.
one million USD equivalent in EUR would bring me in top 100 wealthiest people in my country, wtf
Tbh i only need 100-200k for a really REALLY good jumpstart.
t. 3rd worlder.
This.
Had a good laugh in a thread last night where boomer-tier scrimpers and savers said you should never aim to cash 100% out at anything higher than one million. May as well just put all your money into an IRA and 401k and call it a day at that point. Some losers just don’t have the competitive gene, I guess; they sound like the same people who would say “why take the risk playing sports? You might get hurt” buncha fucking nerds
it's cope. they live in their moms basement with nil money, but tell themselves their lives would be meaningless with 5m because 10m is still champ cange. their life is just as fulfilling as if they didn't ruin it.
I only need like 100k and I live in bongland
What is "something" then?
5 million?
>Inb4 muh I need 50 million
This. Even my mom laughed and thought it was “cute” when I told her I could cash out $1MM. She said anything less than $10MM isn’t worth the bother, and she doesn’t even have that - my parents net worth is about $2MM. They have a decent life but they are in their 70s and still working because they want to be able to pass something along to their kids when they die. As a father I understand it, but it also makes me sad. My goal is $10MM so I can tell my parents to retire and still be able to take care of my own kids’ inheritance.
It’s funny, at a certain age your own existence and happiness becomes the least important of all to you.
>t. Self loathing nerd
ok I'll bite. You are given 100k right now, after taxes. What do you do. Assuming you don't have a job and need to rent/live somewhere.
100k is just enough to set up your own in-house shrimp farm
after that it's infinite money
you literally 20-30x your money every 2-3 weeks
People who are worth 2mil should not be snubbing 1mil.
if you think $1M is a lot you’re basically a rodent and should shut the fuck up
In the eye of the beholder. For me it’s $15million, because I only want to pull out $5 million for myself ($3m after taxes, thank you land of the free) and leave the rest to begin my family’s wealth accumulation over the next generations.
It’s not so much the number itself I have an exact problem with. It’s the fact most people aiming for $1million on here are short sighted niggers that only plan for their own life and not their descendants’.
If you’re a third worlder, $1MM may be a fine amount. But in the first world? Especially the US where hyperinflation is set to hit by the end of 2021? One million won’t mean as much as you think.
When you usually larp do you also dress up in specific clothing?
You're poor aren't you?
you are not your genes retard. we are born into a world with resource scarcity for a reason as well. if your primary goal in life is leaving $$$ to your descendants something was very fucked up with your childhood and you're not living true to yourself. your kids will need your love a million times more than trust funds.
if they brought up properly, making $ won't be an issue for them. if they brought up fucked up, not even billions will solve their issues.
generally people so obsessed over leaving huge $ in their wills were brought up with neither money nor love/care and think money would have solved all their problems.
I already have like 80k savings/stocks, Ill buy a house majority cash then take out a buy-to-let mortgage on some apartment and rent that out for profit. Any remainder will stay in the stock market and i can take on a less stressful job.
>going all in before the 2021 housing crash
yeah user ngmi
not buying a house this year, i specifically moved my house deposit into link because I envisioned this housing crash coming
1 million is a lot of money per say, but what are you gonna do with it? you have a high amount of purchasing power but just enough to run out quickly.
if you try to make a passive income annually, you will just get by, not much more than that.
best you can do with 1 mil is re-invest it till you have more. doesnt have to be crypto but thats the best way you can use 1 million in my opinion.
anything from 10mil up is livable for the rest of your life
this isn't 1962 anymore, 10 mil is the new 1mil.
Will LINK ever reach $2500?
Because that is the only way I will ever get to 10 million
My 2000€ wagecuck job doesn't cut it for me and the stock market won't get me to 10 million neither
Only other chance is trying to set up a business. But chances are low that I am successful
So they, combined, having had careers for a long time, have acquired about $2M and yet think the $1M you made in a short time trading internet memes is nothing? And you agree with them? Obvious larp
I’m aiming to reach 100k during the next year, then I’m going to lift my aim to million, then to ten mils. Having these sort of “milestones” help psychologically, because if I was aiming to make 10 mils out of 10k I would be much more depressed than already am.
Inb4 it takes 3 good 10x trades: shut the fuck up, I’m in this carousel for 4th year already and it’s almost impossible to make those 3 good calls in a row
I'm net worth €120k aged 31, that's before taking considerable inheritances into account. And I'm fucking miserable
If you have a million dollars you should not be trading.
Take your money and enjoy life.
If you owe debts...mortgage..etc.. downgrade.
Stonks are extremely volatile. You could lose it all in a flash
