isnt 1 gold always equal to 1 gold? if anything you shouldnt look at it like gold price going up = gold price going up, but gold/usd going up just means that usd is going down, or in otherwords the counter currency is going doing/losing value/etc

I only have one because I like the aesthetic, but like said, apparently they're commonly faked. I bought mine from my LCS, so I trust him to not sell me a fake, but I won't do significant money into them. I'm a Krug/American Eagle guy myself.
