Yeah. I dont understand why. The UK is objectively in the worst economic position of any western country. Worst GDP contraction, Brexit looming which has had all negotiation fucked by cocid, and the government severely overspent on vaccines and covid measures exhausting all emergency funds to deal with brexit, and now they are actively stopping economic recovery domestically by limiting people able to gather etc.
