I think it's the frequency with which it's mentioned. Cardano is pretty much vaporware and has a huge market cap, but there's like 1-3 threads per day about charles and his lambo and/or lousy hairline. There's like 5 XRP threads up at any given time.

Cardano, for all the faults, have made good progress and are clearly not a scam even if they’ve been incredibly slow. XRP has no redeeming factors outside of being used by banks as the NWO coin. It’s barely a cryptocurrency.
