Right now crypto is still a meme that 95% of Zig Forums thinks is a scam. As time passes and the autistic fear of government causes more people to use altcoins and altassets coupled with inflationary instability and the rise of businesses trading in crypto, you'll see billions of people adopt this over 50 years.
