Pretty much this. Not that it's too complicated, just complicated enough and when you're dealing with money people are even more cautious. I lost hundreds of dollars trying to learn. Not knowing what slippage was, how much a gwei was, etc. Lots of people are just too poor or stupid to take these risks.

Because in order to understand it they have to research it themselves. Most are too lazy so they wait for conventional media to cover it, which we all know happens at the end of a bull cycle, so when they finally buy in they get burnt.

Because they are smarter than people think and realize that 'crypto' is almost nothing but scams. They will only use it if there is some reason to that is so compelling they can't avoid using it. Currently crypto is like the internet in 1993 and very easy to avoid being involved in.

This. The second crypto starts getting large scale news shilling on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, etc. exit all positions. It is even easier for normies to fomo in now as compared to 2017. All they need is a little push and they will be spending their life savings tyring to get in on "the next big thing".

Some are okay and try to understand though, and they just don't know about it yet. You can explain it to them and they listen to you interested and look into it without calling it "muuh scam". But in 99% of cases they are still very risk averse because it is very new. So they only buy like a few $100 worth max. Maybe low 4 figures the most.
That's why they will never make it. They rather risk working 40 years of their lifes instead of risking losing one year worth of their salary. But even for that everything would have to go to zero which is bullshit.

Tl;dr: Not everybody can make it. We will. They won't. We are degenerate and redpilled, they aren't. Everybody here who has at least $50k in good projects will propaply be able to retire in 10 years max if they play their cards right and Crypto goes mainstream.
