sentinel decentralizes: -the back end (by letting anyone host a node) -the front-end (by letting anyone build on top of the open sourced apps and the network)
sentinel goal is to have hundreds of VPNs built upon it with many payments options, languages and different set of features , anybody can easily become a VPN provider without the need to own hardware, and given the decentralized nature of the whole system you will never have any legal problems by launching your sentinel based app
Been holding this for well over a year. Nice to see this recent, steady growth. Great project.

letting other people build on your platform is how ethereum got to current adoption levels, definitely a better approach then forcing everyone to use a single interface
Nathaniel Wood
Is someone already building third party apps on sentinel ?
Connor Fisher
This is fire. Huge market potential and obliterates Orchid.
yeah i agree, but ethereum has not fully adopted its own ideology, they are forcing everybody to follow a single set of rules cause of their single chain approach, cosmos (which is where sentinel is building upon) is way superior
after the open source IOS blueprint gets fully released i expect they will release also the ios version of their app. after the v3 client releases sentinel will also be able to integrate directly with spider vpn through their hardware solution
Been using sentinel for a few months now and I only get totally irrelevant ads on all platforms. I am beating the big tech algos. I am no longer a product. Feels great. Join me anons.
cosmos is the next best competitor to ethereum, instead of trying to scale on a single chain , cosmos uses the many chain approach , horizontal scalability allows any dev to easily spawn a new chain with full customization of any features, from choosing which VM to run to which coins to accept as fees for network transactions, every chain will be communicating with all other chains thanks to cosmos cross chain protocol which will be settled with very fast speeds (under 5 seconds) and it will have instant finality (no need to wait for multiple confirmations) if you have seen latest eth gas prices you know there is a problem there , ethereum will price out all retail investors soon and thats a big portion of the market, thats where cosmos comes in and dethrones ethereum , by offering cheaper safer and faster settlement to anybody, also cosmos coins give yield and they are not useless like erc 20s but necessary for the whole system to function
Oh ffs. Spastic alert. Gl getting them to prove no logs or that they aren’t selling you data. Open source code? Didn’t think so. So cucked. Muhhhhh nord. how are you even on this thread if you are so stupid? Must be a troll.
Sent shills are so coordinated and wooden. Its off putting.

chart is also bullish af on this one. We are about to break out anytime with this volume

Yeah, there's always a sent shill thread with multiple wall of text posts. I hold a few sents, but i expect a rug pull somewhere along the way

Sit back. Relax. Let me spoon-feed you some delicious DD.
Sentinel market cap: $7.8M Orchid market cap: $378.7M (was about $500M before BTC drop)
Orchid token distribution: top 15 wallets own 70% of the supply. VCs with large holdings who bought the token in private pre-sale rounds at a fraction of the price. Sentinel token distribution: top 15 wallets own 28.8% of the supply. White hat, grassroot, OG cryptography community. Small 2017 $2M ICO, with only 20% supply to the team.
Orchid built on ETH with high gas fees, and an incredibly frustrating user experience. Can not scale.
Sentinel built on Tendermint / Cosmos network that is interoperable and scales with ease. Wireguard integration will allow a completely user decentralized multi-hop network made up of exit nodes, relay nodes, TOR exit nodes, validators and stakers. Stake your tokens to secure and validate the network for easy yields. Open source Mac / Windows / Linux / Android / iOS dVPN. 3rd party developers can build and integrate the Sentinel network into their own applications.
This is as easy as it gets user. SENT is the next 50x+. But you don't have much time. Mainnet is around the corner. Order books are quickly drying up. Token economic release and staking yield details will cause a tidal wave of buyers. we will see around 15-25% yields on staking, similar to other Cosmos projects. Then you can earn even more by selling your unused bandwidth and launching multiple VPS nodes.

Lol. The real SENT Pump is during Tendermint. Even facebook is building on Tendermint. SENT team did large tendermint bug bounties.

Sentinel is the Amazon of bandwidth. Sentinel will do to bandwidth what Amazon has done to retail goods. Amazon has revolutionized retail goods by giving everybody a global platform on which to sell and buy goods. Sentinel will do the same, it will give everybody the possibility to sell and buy bandwidth in a verifiable way on an open and decentralized market with out middlemen. Before Amazon, everybody had to sell only locally and advertising was expensive, now everybody can send goods all over the world and has the ability to reach a global market place. Imagine when normies understand they can get paid for their unlimited bandwidth with out doing anything, or buying bandwidth at a much lower cost then on centralized VPNs. It is similar to unlocking free money that people always had lying around but never knew about. This previously unmonetized bandwidth was locked down by the incumbents, gatekeepers, and middlemen. But with Sentinel, suddendly everybody will be able to sell and buy bandwidth in a global market place, making bandwidth the first fully digital fungible commodity. This is an untapped market, potentially worth billions.
