I can't afford to turn any more of my hair gray obsessing over short term crypto trades. Sure there's lots of money to be made in yfi shit but you have to watch it like a hawk 24/7 to make sure you don't get HOTDOGGED. Right now I'm 50% BTC/25% ETH/15% LINK/10% XMR. I figure these are the ones I can delete my blockfolio, sleep soundly at night, come back in 2 years and collect my gains on.
Shill me anything else you think is a sound sleeper with a 2-year horizon of gains. Even defi shit if you can somehow manage to explain how your 100000% APR coin named HOTPOCKET that was minted two days ago will still be around and thriving a week from now (much less two years from now).
Aergo This is a medium to long term hold. You can take significant profits EOY. Very likely to be huge in 1-2 years

ShareRing is a decent long term hold, they are building a sharing economy company such that the revenue made on the platform is used to buy tokens on exchanges and distribute to stakers. They have pretty strong forecasts for their transaction/revenue numbers which comes about through large partnerships with companies that will be using the technology and paying fees for every transaction they make. Big insurance companies and car companies have been announced and more to come, they're announcing a big one on Wednesday

So, help a retard out who was ignoring the defi thing the last few months because I was just patiently waiting for my existing crypto to mature to long term capital asset status. Is there a beginner's guide somewhere that explains how wrapping all my crypto up and stuffing it in someone else's vault isn't fraught with risk? My only experience so far has been watching a bunch of these y projects implode on themselves in the last week or two, so I simply presume that's what's in store for all of them at this point.

Watch the video. It’s a fork of Monero that allows you to mint and burn a private stable coin. The worlds first fully private stable coin in fact. Buy it on trade ogre no kyc required.
Carter Myers
what are your expectations on this one? I own a small bag of these but with the 60% loss i had it's getting heavy, and the staking rewards doesn't help that much
Evan Ward
you're not wrong, it's like the DAO and bitconnect had a crackbaby. btc eth xmr are the long term holds
Nolan Rodriguez
Tired of this FUD. Yeah, maybe we had a rough start, but we just needed to shake out the whales and weak hands. HOTDOG is looking stronger than ever.
Julian Taylor
don't buy it now, wait for a drop and get into IOTA, the only true longterm hold.
So should I continue ignoring all the yfi spam? Is there literally any defi project that is thoroughly vetted and safe to stake/lock with, or at least which provides a good enough risk/reward ratio that justifies using it? I'm just not seeing anything that qualifies (maybe AAVE?), but I'm also halfway to a made-it stack so my risk appetite is much lower than if I had $50 and nothing to lose.
