Can someone help me understand how normies do it? I wagecuck and save 50-66% of my paycheck in order to become a Randy Weaver level NEET in the woods in a few years. How can normies work for 45 years just to buy FunkoPops and Netflix Subscriptions and not off themselves? Is anyone on this board a normie and can inform me?
Can someone help me understand how normies do it...
It makes me feel better that you feel this way. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one.
It all boils down to how people cope in the face of increasingly shitty conditions. Some find temporary solace in cheap Chinese-manufactured consumerist garbage and blatant Jewish propaganda, and other people don’t. That’s all there is to it
Drugs or Jesus
i can see that. its just, one leads to independence and the other leads to more dependence
You arent alone brother, got my land sorted in the mountaintop jungle area in Peru now about to get my cabin built for 50k. All self sustaining and everything cheap as when needed. Now need 200k so can gtfo of civilization
>funko pops
only bought two when I was a dumb teen and now all I want to do is shoot .22LR at them for the lols
>netflix subscription
The funny thing is that my parents pay for it and they watch the shit out of it along with my sister
I only go on netflix once in a blue moon if I actually feel like watching anime
Also most young normies work shit jobs and/or live in expensive areas
Because you know safety and good communities are a luxury now.
Good luck on your goal user
Are you peruvian? How are you going to deal with locals tribes and paramilitaries?
Normies only perceive themselves in the context of their status relationship to everyone else. Their level of self-esteem determines how much status they seek or avoid, but it's 100% status to them
Some people are born dependents.
Based.
lol i was shooting 12 gauge slugs last weekend and really wished i had some amiibos or funko pops to ventilate.
i get use out of my parents subscriptions but i cant imagine actually paying for it myself
>shit jobs
i know i was close to this reality but i got into STEM right before it became a meme
I'll be lucky to build flight hours when I transfer to another college to finish my degree or join the military or god willing I can build enough to get a Commercial Pilot's License
It's just so much fucking money it want to vomit
I'll never forget how uneasy I felt after reading about the Ruby ridge incident. So fucked up
Good luck. Im looking to get a PPL at some point. if i really like it id turn it into a career but i know how fickle aviation is.
>getting a PPL
Go ATPL or nothing, flying is a shit hobby
Would you be interested in joining forces to build a nation on international waters?
Waco is even worse. I can relate to the Weavers more because im not into commie living facilities
>good hs grades and part time job
>went to top 50 school
>”duh I like economics/finance and what pays bette than working wit muhnee” -me as a retard 18 year old
>graduate w/ a near 4.0 and one ok internship not in finance after 100s of rejections
>find good remote job
>laid off a few months in due to rona
Honestly I regret every life decision I’ve ever made, and I’m 33/33/33 on joining the military, going back to school, or just trudging on in interview hell
if it looks like this, then no. but otherwise it would be good if there is an airstrip
You take student pilots?
Go to the gas station, buy some PBRs, get a little buzzed
Because life is not gonna get any better for now
based sea steader? I’d like nothing more than to see you guys succeed
ive never been into hobbies with $200 an hour rates but you know how it is
already covered got acid blondie cigars and smoke them after lifting when I feel extra shit, occasionally drink w/ some relatives too
Did you ever think about why they buy funko pops and Netflix subscriptions? It's pure escapism. They work a shitty job, don't enjoy their life and buy things to feel better and have a few moments of detachment from their situation. Then they have to work the job so they can keep buying stuff and the cycle continues. If you can find self-worth and happiness outside of consumerism and be content without escapism you can save money and be happy at the same time. This is difficult though and it will feel like the whole world is working against you to make sure you don't achieve contentedness.
I just want a nice AK to shoot with while 5.56/.223 is at retard prices
i know it sounds dumb but stick with your degree unless you can join the military as an officer. enlisted are jarheads and getting in debt with another degree is a death sentence
i totally see how someone can fall into this pit of despair but how can one keep it up for 45 years? i was luckly enough to have a lot as a kid and realize material shit means nothing but i guess most have yet to see this
yeah that’s the problem is anytime I try to join the recruiters try to rail road me into signing on as enlisted. My commie area offers free two year degrees now so I might try IT or programming
you're talking to the wrong dudes. Used to work at an Officer Selection Office at berkeley. Got protested on the reg by local hippies. Good times. But they should have been protesting the enlisted recruiting station down the street, they were just too dumb to know that, or too lazy to care. The OSO will break it down for you. military was the best decision ever, because being an officer is awesome on so many levels. Still have 2 years left on my GI Bill after a free top ten MBA afterwards, too. Set for life.
sounds boring being stranded at sea
This guy gets it.
I'm not saying buying things is a bad thing, it's just better to buy things which can lead to self-improvement. Taking your example of buying a gun, you might take that to a shooting range and practice using it. You are working on your hand eye coordination and getting out of the house, maybe in the open air and maybe with some friends. This is a positive experience for a variety of reasons and is not escapism, in fact it heightens your active experience of being alive. Buying a gun for self- defense is useful too. On the other hand buying a Netflix subscription or funko pops are escapism and don't lead to an active life or any self-improvement (despite what you may think while watching documentaries on Netflix). The distinction can be confusing but I think it's there. That is my view of buying things, is it useful and will it help me become a better person?
