If you were going to buy a luxury car to show off, which would be the least bad financially speaking? I know that most European cars, for instance, cost an arm and a leg to repair. Are there any cars that are both status symbols and non-money pits?
If you were going to buy a luxury car to show off, which would be the least bad financially speaking...
2008-2012 tesla roadsters are going up in value
> not even a cobra
Why not a corvette C8? Honestly, unless it's a classic, cars are depreciating assets in general. Enjoy yourself when you make it homie
>(functional) battery not included
I'm gonna get a used Bentley GT. Fuck it
yeah, great for city parking, cheap to service, etc.
Tesla and exactly what I want
Those mid 2000s Bentley GTs are cheap and good as hell
You should get a car that makes you smile when you drive it not just to show off the people
get a classic
will draw way more attention than another "luxury" car, exudes masculinity, and won't deprecate
hopefully it will also help you to appreciate cars for their history and aesthetics rather than as a status symbol
nice choice but i raise you the pandem c8. the zoomer boomer mobile
also this
Lexus LFA
those are going to be $1 million cars in the near future
lines on that are fucking awful
remove the bolt-on trash in red, maybe
I’m getting an unmolested mkiv Supra soon. Been my dream car and I’m selling a bit of my portfolio and will have some extra cash so I decided to treat myself. It’s going to be maintained to high hell and I’ll likely slowly mod it over time with the highest quality parts. Always a project I wanted to do since I was a kid.
totally based, i hope you enjoy the heck out of that car user
Assuming you'd like to do the work yourself..
Any classic car with a 10/10 paint job
Any vintage retro car with a 10/10 paint job
Any model Lotus >2009
Any >2009 Porsche base model
Mustang/Camero/Challenger with custom paint, rims & wheels & body work
-
If you got budget a decent chunk of money for maintenance
Ashton >2009
Maserati >2018
It's a shitty car. Owned one, sold it for more than what I paid for, wouldn't deal with it again. The general audience/forum members ruin it and more faggy guys came up to me when I was filling up at a gas station then when I owned my 911.
to add to this look into the following:
Land Rover Defender
Toyota 4Runner/late 80s early 90s bronco with custom paint/wheels/accessories
late
I got a 2016 Boxster with 5000 on the clock With some of my 2017 gains which wasn’t a bad investment seeings the market shit oit from there and my cars provided ample entertainment that said I got more pussy with my old v8
Fucking lol on connery accent for ashton.
Is Safex unironically gonna be the roadster of crypto? like would people hold it just for memories sake?
Notsofast said he had a bag just because he believes
Thanks user
To each their own. I’m sure there will be lots of lame fanboys but it comes with the territory. It’s for my own enjoyment and I already have a fun daily as well as a little time attack/track car so I’m set on this as a high quality project
>The general audience/forum members ruin it and more faggy guys came up to me when I was filling up at a gas station
Feel your pain. I had a mint Integra Type-R in Phoenix Yellow. Every fill up was some autistic faggot asking questions and taking pics just about, and a bunch of beaners and ricers driving clapped out Civics and other JDM trash trying to race or talk at stop lights.
Based and highly underrated choice. Great investment car and will no doubt be worth a million. One of the greatest sounding cars ever produced period.
If I make it I buy a new Honda NSX and an old Mazda RX-7
My car hit 300k miles the other day. I'll buy another Lexus/Toyota for sure.
>tfw my 1994 Cobra is acting up and nobody can figure out why
I hope something moons because I love my stupid snek and would unironically cash something out to get it working again.
I’ve owned a few.
Porsche 911, Audi R8, Nissan GTR
Currently have a Tesla model S. hands down the cheapest of any of them.
The Porsche was oddly enough fairly cheap too.
But I would bet most anons here could afford. It’s incredibly cheap and oddly enough the quickest and most fun car I’ve owned.
Use excel, set milestones and an appropriate runway. Have fun.
Time attack/track is fun and all, but, it quickly gets dull. I did it spec w/ Miatas, M3's and 911. The clubs intersect and always welcome one another at track days. Same with Corvette club.
The Supra isn't bad, but it's to fanboy and I had people messaging me all over if I'd go to their sunday coffee club, car meetup, etc where it's mostly people that value aesthetics over car driving, performance or actual fun.
It was also not fun at parking or daily.
My miata(s) are, and they're cheap as chips that I'm able to do more hobbies.
I would find one that needs some TLC, because then you can build equity in it - but keep it as stock as possible to facilitate resale easiest and don't post everything about it on the forum.
>Now if only if I can find me a FD RX7 that needs lots of TLC.
They don't make them like they used to anymore
