I get so bored so easy that I work non stop all the time and I have basically brute forced my way into some really nice positions, through undergrad, and grad school, and all the way up the company ladder cause I just work non stop all day since I have no friends or hobbies to do when I go home.
Now people reference me to other people claiming I am so smart and talented, and I don't live up to the hype. I just work like a freak, but I am not intelligent at all, and all these other nerds with phds do the work I do in 10 hours when it takes me 14-16 a day to keep up.
I feel the exact same way. I cannot keep up with this high level work for very much longer, I just want to accumulate wealth for a few years and then go to something easier.
I can do the work, but I just don't fit in because I am too unsophisticated for my coworkers or something I guess.
Good luck, just don't beat yourself up if you lose the job or decide to quit. High salary always seems nice to the people who don't have to do the work. They imagine we just get the money for free or something.
