Please help I'm a total noob. I just started trading two days ago and even tho I always sold higher the change in currency ate all my profit. I don't know if I'm very unlucky or if I'm not aware of something I'm doing wrong.

most of the lumber industry in the US is in the areas on fire. This means a huge decrease in supply, limits forward outlook tremendously, and coupled with the fact that homebuilding is through the roof (see what I did there), lumber futures are currently at all time highs. Unfortunately, the demand for lumber typically goes down heading into fall because cold temperatures do not allow for building projects to continue so you may be a bit late. Nonetheless, you can look for companies that own lumberyards outside of PNW and can likely still squeeze out some small gains.
Alternatively, all you really need to get hired on as a wildlands firefighter is a pulse and the pay is acceptable for the locations.
