>work at walmart distribution center
>depending on position, location in distro, and speed, make between $18.50 to $29 an hour starting
Lol. How the fuck is life so easy?
It’s like the 100k a year starting McDonalds chef meme but for real.
I’ll answer any questions.
Warehouse Worker General
Ugh next time might want to do your own math and not listen to the hiring lady user
What's the cost of living in your parts? Housing etc?
You make 18.50 an hour to do what another man tells you to do?
Disgusting
Do you have to deal with customers?
18.50-29 is a giant spread
Uh, go get a skid.
What do you have to do there? Do you need any skills? Is it hard work? $18.50 an hr is more than I make now...
user, our metrics say you aren't working fast enough. pick it up faster wagie.
I remember when I worked at walmart. The trucks were always stacked like shit.
Here are the things that raise your wage
>Weekends instead of weekdays +1.50
>Refrigerated area +0.50 an hour
>Freezer +2.00 an hour (doesn't stack with the refrigerated area)
>Night shift +1.00 an hour
>Picking incentive for order fillers. Anything below 100% of estimated pick time you get 100% of your pay. Anything between 101-130% you get +1 to 30% of your base pay. Anything over 130% they don't incentivize because it encourages working too fast for safety.
No skills. I'm just fit and not retarded. There's a lot of muscular people here though.
You'd have to be pretty slow to be anything below 80%. Most people average around 110% after a few months. If you're really pushing it like the top 20% usually are, you can pass 180%.
Jesus dude no able bodied man should be making less than $20/hr
This was my 1st weeks paycheck after "training" for 2 days.
I literally just watched videos giving a job overview. Next paycheck will be more because I worked in the warehouse itself and not in the training room where I earned incentive.
Shit we stack is really all over the place. Can't help it bro. If it makes you feel better, I make my stuff solid.
Look for a walmart distribution center. There's 43 across America for groceries and lots more for their non grocery items.
So you retards get paid twice as much to send us retarded ass trucks like this
Imagine bragging about being poor and working for walmart. Fucking LOL
Unironically yes.
Also, that was either hit by a forklift or fucked by the trucker turning too fast, not us.
We get it wrapped like my op pic.
Post your kino job then retard.
I just stack shit for side money and a workout.
Lead UX at a fortune 100 company

How out of shape are you that bottom tier labor is considered working out to you?
$30/hr is less than 60k/year unless you're talking overtime with no vacation.
>180lbs
>6'1"
>Been out of the gym since the pandemic
>12 hours lifting about 2,000 objects between 2-50lbs while steering large machinery
I'd rate my current fitness about 3/10.
I'd also rate your base American a 2/10, so I'm marginally better, but generally a gym bro prior to all of this. I've filled my used to be gym time with a second job to fill my pockets. Pretty good trade off imo.
Ruining the joke of "It's like the....meme"
I'll just see if this is going to stay balanced when the forklift guy comes in.
What's the worst that can happen?
Ouchie.
Bruh. You good?
kek when you grow up and get a real job its double that.
>18.50
>min wage will be 15 soon
So when everyone else is spending time doing the things they want to be doing, and why they work for the week, you're in a frozen refrigerator system at night.
>I don't work nights, because I already have a full time job and nights are awful
>I only really added about maybe 8-10 hours to my schedule each week when considering this just replaces my closed down gyms.
Man, you sure are retarded, aren't you faggot?
No wonder why people stay poor, they're work adverse like yourself.
I'm a software engineer at a robotics company building a robot deployment system to take your job. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Report that to your supervisor immediately. You are on leave, user. We'll fire you later for some arbitrary reason.
>wake up 4am
>drive to work
>coworkers are generally good people
>coworkers actually become genuine friends
>some coworkers can't actually read or write though
>some coworkers are not deeps bad & minds of children autstic but "oh...." kind of autsictc
>5AM roles around
>punch in
>yiu get work receiving
>truck is a mess
>15 minutes in
>boss: "Let's keep moving! We've gotta make time! We've been behind twice this week! You guys got this!"
>stero playing top 20
>its cold but you're still sweating
>Boss: Hey user we need you in the truck.
>you just know
>get to the truck
>the guys who are going to make it 2 months in and quite are slowing the team down
>you think "I ask should have woke up at 2AM to take poo in the loo
>its 5:45AM
>trucks done
>Boss: user you head over to the food section in aisle A-8. After that head over to home goods & ststt training with Mr. Klyde. Joe will be there to take over training after that.
>smile
>Yes sir!
>older women laugh at yiur goofy on the fly jokes
>co-worker 6 years older: "you see the so and so release trailer user? What did yiu think
>7AM
>newbie is released from small training montage
>Boss
>Hey user how'd Klyde do? We going to make the 15 minute cut off?
>Klyde's doing well actually and yep, we'll make it. I'm hussling it out.
>Boss:great!...oh user. I just wanted to say thanks for saving the truck unload time today. I can always count on you getting the jobs I give you done.
>Thanks boss
>Boss: grab some water after this.
>smiles
>having dinner and a movie with the boss & rest of the gang later
>11 more hours to go
>fast forward 10 years
>working weekends
>you're the oldest person in your friend group
>haven't hung one on with the team in 6 years
>no house
user you better love and cherish that'll team. You don't know the good times are gone until you're not in them.
Holy fucking ESL
he's young though, cut him some slack
he's just starting out
You will need at least 1 Bitcoin to survive the apocalypse. You don't have much time left to accumulate. How much money do you save from each paycheck?
Well everything.
Plus about 40% of my first paycheck.
I used to work in a warehouse back in the day, that shit was soul draining.
are you guys really glorifying warehouse jobs? fucking hell.
t. worked at Chewy
>eco lab pest control
