I want to load up on linkies. I tried the new "instant deposit" feature on Coinbase pro, it said it would let me deposit usd from my bank and trade with it instantly. However, the usd does not show up in my Coinbase pro account. Have I misunderstood that I should be able to trade instantly after making the deposit? Do they mean "instantly after the funds show up in your account, which may be in 3-5 days"?

It does exactly what it says. You can trade it before it’s available i your account so you can buy instantly. If you just want it in your wallet and want to take it out later then you will have to wait 3-5 days

Update: The second deposit suddenly showed up! The first one was much bigger, I won't be able to re-do it again if the original deposit goes through as well. I guess I'll just wait and see if that one too shows up. Thanks again for the help, fren!

I redid the big deposit in three smaller deposits now. All showed up instantly. Something must have gone wrong with my first one. Hopefully it won't suddenly go through with the big original one.
