So as of recent news there's a fuck ton of random things.
-Third auction for an NFT (one of the main selling points) was sold for 9000$ (first two got around 7k each)
-Farms set up with Jiaozi and Balancer
-Waifu Kings Club for Waifillionaires.
I'll admit right now it feels sucky despite all the genuine successes. People going to school and stuff as well as a relatively stagnant price compared to the start is making people less energetic but it's basically begging for adrenaline. Right now many holders are in hybernation.

The devs are relatively anti advertisement, I mean we have a strong shill team (when we get to work, supposedly new meme contests are on the horizon)
We had a bunch of good partnerships at the start and we still get some here and there. It's hard to recruit new people with the bleh looking charts but it's actually probably the best time to get in. I'd say our true value is closer to .0025 based on history and that a few dumps got us fucked up. The devs hate shilling with real cash and use it for development.

Checked and sort of based. I understand the power of advertising, I used to want to do it. I don't neccessarily think they should go around paying scammers for promotions but they should probably go a lot harder on social media in general. Zig Forums game also has to pick up (it was godlike at the start and caused bullruns).
Tbh don't think retards will make us look worse, just increases our retard strength, if we advertise here it's a mix of quant autists and retards which I think works for a good dichotomy, pic related. The yin yang of success works for all of the best investments.

my one worry is that this sees a slow burn of death like TEND, it'll be easily preventable, we just need new channels of interest, getting the crunchyroll / online pay-for-anime types would be insanely good for long term stability and growth

I am legit spookified by just how the community did a huge 180 after the first auction. From hype being held up by everyone to the main marines keeping it up. Even after multiple events that genuinely surpassed the first auction the little rascals won't get to work.

You guys are missing the point, there's nothing to shill. There needs to be some product advancements first, every small holder knows the auctions are just for whales. You can't shill that or advertise it.

To explain, the devs refuse to spend $WAIF to advertise (other than to actually buy the NFTs for auctions but that's a guaranteed profit which goes sort of into it's own fund and liquidity).
I believe we already have a more solid purpose and event structure than most cryptos far larger than us. There's more to come in terms of waifus for the masses that are generated and also raffles for waifus. I think they need to get to work on that as I agree the auctions are mainly for whales (but it does help the small speculative investor )

I wish they'd roll out more screenshots of the marketplace they are working on. All this hush hush isnt helping people want in. I know im not a fan of this secret shit they are doing. Put out some screens of progress and wet everyones appetite with the token and progress and whats coming.
too many token devs make that mistake. they keep all this shit under wraps and dont post enough updates and progress reports and people get bored and find other tokens that arent doing that

I see, I think even if they tried where would they advertise? Crypto is kind of a closed up place.You can only shill it to those who understand crypto. We are literally at the innovator's phase, where you can only buy waifu if you understand uniswap and gas fees and how to use a wallet, etc, etc. Let waifu grow into exchanges and that's where the early adopters happen.
But I also strongly believe weebs will go to extents to own these waifus. The simple idea of a gacha game with actual universal cards stored on the blockchain with actual resell value...just unimaginable. This is the early majority.
