So DIV pays every month and has a 8-12% annual yield. Why would anyone put their money in a savings account when DIV just blows that out of the water easily and is only a tiny bit more risky?
How did you lose money during one of the greatest bull runs of all time? Just kept buying puts in July and August and Calls at the beginning of Sept? Maybe you should just buy and hold from now on?

My job does payroll in a weird way where it constantly cycles around at different dates, so sometimes end up getting paid for the work you put in multiple weeks prior for your paycheck.
The woman that processes my timesheets forgot to put my timesheets for multiple weeks into the system, and now i haven't been paid for the time I worked many weeks ago. She said that those hours will be put in for the next paycheck, but that's at the end of the month.
If I lived paycheck to paycheck like most Americans I'd probably have to take out a loan or something. This kind of thing seems way too important to leave no one accountable when mistakes like this are made.
