I think Chainlink will probably fizzle out within the next few years. The new speculative money isn't going to wait (forever) for this project to do something. It's not profitable and never will be. It is crypto so you're always going to have a base of investors (this is why a lot of projects don't eventually go to zero) that literally cannot sell because it would mean them giving up on a lifelong dream. But the run up never made any sense to begin with and people should be ashamed that they bought during the run, when you have no fundamentals and the company is not profitable, it's tragic when you see this sort of thing knowing that it can't sustain.
What's left is the delusional schizo money and new wave of link speculators, at a market cap that is ABSURD - not a good combination.
So you're saying not to buy back in with my profits user? Where should I invest then, if not link which was previously the safest bet?

I do like Bitcoin because if institutional wealth is going to get into anything (and that's where the real money is) they are going to get into the major players. They won't buy your altcoin bags, that's true delusion on another level. You can see major players begin to invest into Bitcoin today, they're investing because they know that Millenials and Zoomers are not going to buy gold as a store of value, but they will buy Bitcoin as a store of value. Taking into consideration the market cap of Bitcoin compared to gold and you have a 10x minimum within a few years, and probably much more.

So you somehow give a pass to BTC marketcap, but not ChainLink. You have bunch of teams, making something big, something new and everyone is joining hands with ChainLink, because ChainLink will be TCP of blockchains (sort of, but not quite). There are people making corporate blockchains, there are people coding standards, there are people making middle ware to connect everything, you can see stuff being made very day. What about bitcoin? "store of value", role of BTC will be only another chain who eats transactions in future internet. Nobody develops it, it's dead. It's price is just an echo who keeps returning weaker and weaker. Delete trading pairs on exchanges and everybody will forget this old chain. There will be ways to make insane cash from link tokens, no, you have no idea how everything will work in the future, because you have no feet inside what's happening in the space. Your only argument is insane marketcap, look broader, look into what's happening, go to dev forums where nobody goes.
>within the next few years >new speculative money isn't going to wait (forever) for this project to do something.
In 2021 you will see some serious shit. That's not forever or years. But by all means sell i don't care.

We don’t need speculative new money. You’re retarded. You clearly don’t understand the project

This encapsulates the link mentality. A lot of memes, youthful ad hominem, non-replies, nothing substantial, ever. The irony is these people think they're smarter than everyone else.
Furthermore, this is a common reply and it's a cop out. And you do want me to buy you're shilling right now. The early investors are already millionaires, they're gone unless they're stupid. There is a dearth of people that know what they're talking about, the level of technical sophistication that most link holders have is terrifying. They simply can't refute basic arguments, not only that but articulate how the project will be profitable. It's a lot like XRP schizo's. It's just fantasy. Use case? No one cares. It's not about the technology.

I'm currently in the I don't give a fuck your mother state.

You're a retard. You aren't making any arguments, you are repeating complete lies

You are somehow under the assumption that Link a premined erc-20 token, will create a new market paradigm shift. Instead it will function as a way of making the founders rich. This is all just a pipe dream.
Thanks to OP for posting this thread, we're back in buy territory.
William Collins
You are such a faggot. Thankfully your kind is just going to wash around, play musical chairs, and generally accelerate things. Hopefully you bring about the end of days while I'm still young enough to play.
Jace Green
Thanks user, I just bought BTC with my 60k link profits, potential 600k in a few years sounds great to me

You confuse the financial and technical fundamentals. The financial fundamentals are that Binance controls LINK, the developers have to engage in toxic financing to fund development, and paid trolling has detached the impact of technical and business fundamentals from the financial ones.
The technical fundamentals are sound. LINK is already doing something. It is already accepted as a bedrock dapp. The theoretical fundamentals allow for LINK solving most of the issues with the space through recursion to itself. This should have an impact, but for the financial fundamentals. You are hung up on those. We are hung up on these. We are at an impasse. We believe in inevitability. You believe in a Chinaman, whale channels, arbitrage bot networks, wash trading, trolls, and babytown frolics teams eventually poaching and parceling Chainlink's work. You are temporarily correct but for the inevitability.
James Miller
timestamp, pls. I'm not going to watch through the whole 6 hr thing. you also severely underestimate the power of memes.
You realize >$1MM of rewards have been paid out to node operators and it doesn't even really do anything yet? Trillions will be paid out within the next 3 years.

Did you know that pee pee is better than poo poo?

You're replying to pasta but checked and good response user. The reality is the ones who play the financial and fundamentals perfect will be the biggest winners (dip in and out at key moments, but have a strong position for the inevitable singularity). That said, some of those who try to play both sides will get left behind. The ones who simply wait will win slightly less big, but (assuming they got in early enough and hold enough) will win more than enough in the end, without the risk of missing out.
