I know the dangers of it are overstated compared to what the media likes to push. Short sighted practices in much of the developing world means localized problems are going to displace people. There are several places where people are drilling for water and depleting aquifers far faster than they can be replenished. What happens when those aquifers dry up? Even if climate change does turn out to be completely fake, population growth in Africa means tens of millions of them will be trying to get into Europe now they know it's an option.
