Proxy Contract Users (Apps like Dharma, Matcha) are calling for a retroactive Airdrop coming from the community treasury on October 18 for their users who bought crypto through their apps, claiming they bring new users that somehow interact with Uniswap, avoiding gas fees. Now being honest, I dont know how that even works. Do they say they don't charge gas fees but in reality they just include them in the final price?
Anyway, we have to consider how this would affect us. It seems that they are calling for not only Dharma, but Matcha and idk how many other apps of the kind to spam our Governance board in order to get this through. This means thousands more getting 400 UNI's , bringing the price considerably DOWN, especially if they start dumping on our heads. They are really shilling this on Twitter and if you go to the board, you will see most comments are them saying "YES WE DESERVE FREE MONEYS TOO". Are you okay with this? Go and voice your opinion, there is more to UNI token than just flipping it.

Dharma has been a legit af experience. There’s no gas fees, but they intentionally fuck you with high slippage and sometimes charge a high usage fee too. I wouldn’t complain if I got an extra 400 UNIs from Dharma, but already collected from my own wallets. Free either way

The airdrop was a marketing tactic to promote, encourage, and reward the singular use of Uniswap. Why would a proxy ever be included in that? There wouldn't be any outrage from these people if they were confident with their voting power, and who DOES have the voting power right now is certainly NOT going to want to vote in any more dilution.
