I think I noticed it when I became 15 when I noticed my entire community celebrated birthdays on paper plates and plastic forks while eating $20 walmart cakes. My parents have never taken a vacation and I never left my province let alone my country (Canada).

Ok maybe some roads get replaced and some potholes filled occasionally. The problem here, is that the federal government is so inherently inefficient at doing ANYTHING. Not comparable. American left just want taxed healthcare which is understandable, but Canadian healthcare is one of the worst examples, because it's overtaxed and we end up paying too much for very little. But we at least regulate pricing so people aren't spending too much on basic medicine. If America had free healthcare it would be different in every state.
