The FED is just a gear, it has big power on the society as a whole but the Board of Governors do not profit from it directly. It's accountable to congress. The owners of banks reap the benefits, but even they are heavily regulated and do not benefit as much. Who influences the congress? The biggest corporations are on the top of the pyramid. Look at where the money is going - digital marketing is the most powerful tool to control the masses and it is not even properly regulated. Look what a company like Cambridge Analytica could accomplish, do you think there isn't much more like it?
