Be me

>be me
>put roughly around 40k dollars into crypto between end of 2017 and today (not all at once - some every couple months)
>after exchange hacks, rug pulls and one most god retarded trade I have only 15k, so I'm more than 60% down from what I put into crypto
>and all that despite current bull market and getting 400 free UNI (which I sold at $3, because I'm a retard)
Should I just kill myself? I guess that a degenerate like me was never supposed to make it.

I'm considering putting everything into ETH and waiting until it hopefully gets close to old ATH and selling there just to recover my losses and quit crypto. I'm probably the most retarded trader on this board.

I invested 7k into chainlink in 2017

Good for you, user.
Did you take any profit yet?

Sell everything you own, put the 15k + extra money into Fantom and hold for 2-3 years. It’s that simple

just wait out the next bull run which should happen either this year or beginning of next year. put your money into solid iso 20022 compliant projects and reap the rewards. stop trying to be a trader and just hold.

>lost 60% of money on crypto
>should I invest more money into crypto?

no

put that 15k into uni

not even joking

you could at least get 5-8k back if u wait until 10. obviously dont hold longer than necessary

>exchange hacks
>end of 2017 to today
What the fuck kind of shady shitcoin-shilling exchanges have you been using son?

>be in crypto since 17
>never make good trades always pick shitter coins
>never put in enough to make good gains cuz poor
>long history of rug and shit choices and scams
>have at most 4k in crypto after all this time.

quit crying pussy and keep at it til you goto zero or you make some lucky trades. and there's people doing worse than I have all this time and gues what they dont just go waaaaaaa imma kill myself cuz of this a bloo bloo blooooooooo

toughen up sissybitch and stop being so pathetic about things.

but how will he get it back

>put 3500$ into crypto from dec 2017 till now
>got scammed and dumped left and right
>12k now

Based crypto

12k after 4 years?

I am in the exact same position.

And I'm sure there are tons of other people on here who lost a lot of money as well. They just keep quiet.

Biz is mostly full of pajeets who want to shill their shitcoins. So never trust anybody on here.

What we have right now is definitely not a bullrun too. So maybe u can get some money back when the market recovers. I am down around 70 % from a few weeks ago.

How much did you lose, user?

where else do you go for good info other than biz?

>What we have right now is definitely not a bullrun too
How are you so certain of this?

>And I'm sure there are tons of other people on here who lost a lot of money as well. They just keep quiet.
Never take anything written here as investment advice bros. If link pumps every creting comes out of the woodwork to inform you they are never selling. Then when it went down from ath, everyone sold at 20. Everyone sold UNI because ‘muh free gibs’, then the next day,”everyone who sold yesterday is a fucking retard”.
You literally can’t win.

What's your trading strategy? Is it FOMOing in bizcoins after they've already x2ed, and then selling at a 20 percent loss when they start crashing?

well crypto is a zero sum game, for everyone losing money there's someone gaining money. So if you see someone who made 100k, other people lost this amount.

I was in XVG for the longest time (since 2017) and kept buying the dips. Probably lost 80% of it.

Finally, this august I realised I was being a complete brainlet and decided to jump ship. Traded my XVG bags for some AAVE, BAND and SWAP this summer. Now I'm up 4x. (It was closer to 10x before the recent dip)

If I had stayed with XVG I'd be having even more severe losses right now.

So there's hope user! Just don't marry your bags.

That is hard to say because I have been here since 2017.

I made a lot of money in 2017. Then lost it all in the 2018 crash. Was super frustrated and quit everything crypto related, but still kept the crashed coins.

A few months ago I saw that some of my coins recovered a bit and started browsing biz again. Made some money and lost most of it in the recent crash again sadly.

So Its hard to say what I exactly lost. I lost a lot of money when I look at my 2017 ath. But from my own invested money it is around a low 5 figure number.

If the market recovers a bit I will probably quit again. Meme coins make me miserable

You sound like a newfag. If you cant use your own head to know when something should be sold or bought then you will lose money as biz will make you buy high and sell low.

if you could predict this accurate you'd be a millionaire, but you're not, so shut the fuck up

10K in December 2018
I don't care for any other crypto, whatever defi is supposed to be or hypestuff. Feels good the only risk is not be caught off guard while swinging

I am very curious what data you can look at and determine the market? I might be too fresh to all of this but I understood it is a given that Septembers are poor performing months as is March Q1/Q3 bank reports. My understanding tells me that after September is the only way to know what type of market we will be in if line goes up or down accordingly

Im not a millionaire but i am also not down on my investment. I invested in 2017 like others here but am up 10x on my portfolio becuz unlike you I dont give a shit on what biz thinks and dont need to be handheld and told when to buy and sell.

i invested in 2012 and i'm also up to be honest

kek if your not a millionaire by now you ngmi

I will give your sorry asses a tip: when things list on exchanges, they already have gone 10x or more from initial price. DYOR is not enough if you don't take into account the precise working of the market. The magic word is VC.

don't worry about me user

me too, except I'm at 16k and took out initial. thanks LINK.

where are good places to DYOR? Or at least other forums like this?

Are you still here? I need to go to sleep soon and can't tell if you have actual information or if you are another demoralized investor that can't see the forest for the trees. Nobody is commenting on your bull run comment which tells me a lot of people are on the fence on this

You have to get in either private or public presales, and at least know what those in these first rounds have paid. I'm not gonna tell you where, DYOR.

user are you aware that you are on an anonymous Malaysian Crabhunting forum?

Are you talking about icodrops?
