There seems to be a perception that one is either a “trader” or a “holder”. I don’t think it’s quite as binary as that. Most things in life aren’t. Personally I actively trade around 30%+ of my portfolio and I’m quite happy with that. I have increased my portfolio value by trading v holding alone. When trading, you don’t have to be a “day trader” making trades every single hour of the very day. It’s possible to make a swing “trade” and “hold” for a period of 2 months for example.
