First time since the Great Depression this has happened
Why is this happening?
What does this mean for the USA?

Idk. A fall in real estate prices and a pump in the stock/crypto markets Bc we have more disposable income.
Or a flatline in all markets Bc ppl are so saddled w debt they can’t invest.
>t. europoor
i'm 39 and i'm living with my parents
Ok I’m 24 and can’t stand another year. Get your shit together user
im working full time and never leaving
nay, been outside for a while, real life sucks
don't judge others if you don't know what's going on in their personal life. we are in a literal great depression.
I'm 40, and living with my parents. My net worth is 1.6 million. I'm doing it for child care during the pandemic. I own 2 rental properties. Both are still paying rent during the pandemic.
my boomer parents are too much. consider yourself blessed if you can even tolerate your parents.
Your net worrh is 1.6 million or your leveraged to shit properties might be worth 1.6 before you pay the debt?
This is good. Move out when you get married, or buy your house from your parents. Renting and real estate are mostly a scam.
Hm, I wonder what major events happened around March of this year that caused people to stay at home.
How do you have sex?
i'm poor af too, considering my life goals i failed and i should kms at several timeframes, but actually in a good mood
i go to her home
Word. Wife and I are 33 with 800k nw. Lived with parents until last year. Nothing wrong with it.
They don’t think it’s weird?
Living in cities, the US spirit feels completely dead. 911 passed completely unnoticed here in NY. This isn't just a depression. This is multiple acts of financial predation upon this generation of young people coming home to roost. Massive debt, no chance of buying a home with a degree, complete demoralization. Massive inflation. We could see post a WW1 depression effect. History shows large populations of men with no hope pretty much always comes before war. Remeber to dodge the draft and invest heavily in gun manufacturing stocks. I can't shake the feeling that early 2021 holds something far worse than the global coof.
There are some excellent books that show how economic patterns following big wars. I don't understand it all, but basically every nation is looking to make shifts and jockey positions.
im moving back in with my mom and don't even care. I'm not living with retard roommates who cant pay rent or living in a shitbox i can barely afford.
This is mostly bullshit because it’s 18-29 year olds and lots of kids in college didn’t go back to campus. So they’re “living with their parents” but the majority of new people doing it are just college students. Headline tricked you again, OP.
nope, they don't care
IT'S BECAUSE BOOMERS ARE PRUDES IN AMERICA
24yos are retarded, I bet he hasn't even looked at the retarded rent costs in his area.
>1500 a month for a studio
>800 a month to "live in someone else's basement"
YIKES
My equity in the properties is positive. ~33% cash ~33% stocks ~33% real estate.
The value of the homes is about a million. My equity is around 500k.
the median american has been becoming less wealthy for about 40 years now. i think a good book for understanding the inflection point where this pattern began is David Harvey's "A Brief History of Neoliberalism"
i havent lived with my parents since i was 8. you faggots need to grow up
Based abandonment issues. Must be nice growing up with the knowledge that no one loves you.
im just glad you recognize my abandonment issues
Ironically I moved out at age 30 in March. Rent's expensive my man, living with the folks is cheap and you get homecooked meals too, assuming your parents spoil you.
Aren’t those students still counted as living with parents tho? Since most of them go back home in the summers? Shouldn’t we have seen this stat every summer then?
I see no reason to move out yet. I have everything I need
>I have everything I need
not everything
The average lifespan of a human during the great depression was 50ish years, and there were around 200 million less people on the planet. You can't live with dead parents, and there was more space.
rent is a fucking scam even in rural areas. a "good" blue collar job in my hometown pays $14-16/hour. a 1 bedroom apartment rents for $600-700/month. i moved to the suburbs of a big city. i live in a nigger shithole town and pay $960/month for a 1 bedroom cuckpartment and that's a very good deal, most other places are charging $1100/month.
Yes, Everything
Honestly this is only a bad thing if the children are parasitic neets, if they're actually productive people it makes a lot of economical sense for both parties. What do whites have against multi-generational households?
