Any ETH "killer" that compromises on decentralization is not an ETH killer, it's at best a Paypal or AWS competitor.
On the short term people may ride centralized shitcoins, but we have seen time and time again that only decentralized wins in the long run.

Those are the only ones that have any chance. Algorand has smart people working on it. DOT and Cosmos could be relevant if we end up in a multi blockchain eco system. Holochain could work because its not blockchain but it seems the team sucks.
