Stop posting this as if it is a big deal, it's almost fud at this point. They aren't "using" chain link for anything. They're just accepting it as a payment along with 50+ other cryptos.
So all this means is that if you want a new way to sell your LINK you can "sell" it to book a hotel. I.e. instead of paying with money when you book, you pay with LINK (or BTC, ETH, etc.)
It means nothing for LINK.

ChainLink really isnt a currency though. Using it as such provides no benefit over fiat that isn’t accomplished equally, if not more efficiently, by almost any other crypto. ChainLink is tokenized data. This is like paying for your hotel room with oil. Sure, you could do it if both parties agreed to it, but why bother? If i had to guess Travala is just trying to build a stack for their own use. They likely want to use the network in the future, and can accumulate a stack with less taxation if they accept it as a direct payment instead of getting paid in fiat, then buying it.
