Gold and Silver/ Precious metals

Gold and Silver/ Precious metals.
What will happen when some scientist invents a way to create gold and silver in a laboratory?

The price will drop to 0 and everyone will be btfo. Am I wrong?

Energy to synthesize gold >>> Energy to mine gold, even asteroid mine it

what if its just as easy as mixing 2 chemicals together and the reaction creates gold ? We can already do that with plenty of other stuff.

I really think gold is extremely risky because of this. Just 1 scientist can destroy the whole economy of gold.

commies could just get rid of money and you're btfo
Gov could just get rid of the stock market you're btfo

i could go on all day

Gold is created when stars explode
What chemicals are you going to mix that have similar energy locally as in a star explosion

That will be probably on a post scarcity society. Meaning you can just 3D print whatever you want anyways, no money needed.

thats true, i'll grant you. But in the same sense, isnt gold just as dangerous as fiat then?

True, but we can create iron and steel and copper. So Gold should be possible as well.

Then the system collapses immediately.

lol, nice b8 m8.

how do we create copper exactly?

Iron is the cap for ‘easy to create’ going up gets harder and harder. The way most heavier elements get made (transmuted rather) is knocking off some neutrons and protons with radiation, but gold is incredibly stable so it’s implausible to do that with gold

Man has been trying to figure out how to create base elements, especially gold, for over a millennia without success because it’s impossible, because God made it impossible for a reason

I'm pretty sure quantum computers will break crypto and digital fiat before that.

You can emulate quantum computers.

You can use blockchains to pool processing power for the emulation.

Grug warn plant tribe they grow food on flat land, stay in one place, food no value and everyone lose.

more like what happens when america makes a serious attempt at mining the rocky mountains? we has a bunch of dumb hicks with literal shovels go out there 100 years ago and they still came back with bricks, once we take elons boring machine to it the price of gold will be exactly what america wants it to be

i meant bronze. We can create bronze from other elements, so whats to stop us from making gold once we find out how?

He's right! What happens when he figures out what two elements combine to create gold?!

well we know what they are, its just a matter of breaking down the science of how to put it together to (melt) it into one

imagine the jews would allow it. All the banksters are the biggest gold holders in this world.

Are you old enough to be here?

Bronze isn't an element.

Go find Bronze on the periodic table. Go ahead. I'll wait.

the same way we made bronze from copper (which is plentiful) we should be able to make Gold from something else. Am i missing something?

seriously i think its them keeping this secret. Might explain all the people disappearing- like Tesla supposedly found this out but the jews kept him down and killed him because they would lose global control.

>We can make an alloy by combining pure metals why can't we make pure metals?

you are a 10/10 retard

why can't we just find 2 metals to combine in some exact ratio to create gold?

We do it for steel, bronze, and who knows how many others. Im just saying its possible, but obviously it would take ages.

user, you need to take a chemistry class. Anyway, gold can be synthesized in a particle accelerator, but until free energy reactors are developed it's not cost effective.

Because gold is a pure metal, steel and bronze are not. You can't just mix two metals and get gold you would need to effect things at the atomic level which would cost more resources than just mining the damn stuff.

Yes Op. We can make xbox's in a lab. Why is their price not 0? I swear zoomers have no ability to think on a subject for more than 8 seconds or something. Phones have not obviously decreased iq, but they've decreased the mental discipline required to take iq and leverage it into actionable thought.

user, look up what an alloy is and what elements are.

Gold is pure. There is no sum of its parts it just is. Steel is mixing iron atoms with carbon atoms it's not pure, gold on the other hand is made up of one thing gold atoms.

Not how chemistry works bro. You can’t create new base elements (like gold) by mixing chemicals together.
There’s literally quintillions of dollars worth of gold on asteroids, so once asteroid mining becomes a thing gold might not survive as a store of value.

I have the secret recipe for this but I can’t tell anyone or else I’ll get disappeared

I see, but like the other user here said , there is a way to do it already. So we can techincially create more.

But isnt it just a matter of time until we do it cheaper with more good materials? Wouldnt it drop the price of gold then and ruin the economy?

It's possible to create gold out of something else, but the amount of energy it requires is worth million times the value of the created gold.
