Former fatass here. I'm still technically overweight, but I used to be very obese
I have slight weakness in my left arm and leg. No big deal really, i just usually feel a slight ache/weakness in my left leg whenever I stand in one place for more than 10 minutes, and will have to shift weight on my right leg/foot for relief. My left arm is pretty much normal now, although years ago I would feel this weird 'weak' sensation in it after walking/jogging for a mile or two (from swinging my arms)
A doctor told me that I probably had a mild stroke and didn't even fucking realize it
From that day forward I kept the junk food to no more often than twice a month, and exercised no less than 4 times a week
I don't WANT to know what a full stroke feels like

Shit, did you know what was happening? I read a book about some neuroscientist who had a stroke and she knew she was having one but she couldn't figure out how to use the phone to call 911. She ended up dialing a random number in her contacts and it happened to be her coworker who figured out what was happening right away and got her an ambulance. It took her like 5 years to recover, she lost the ability to speak and understand language and couldn't recognize anyone for months of that time

Forgot to mention, I didn't even suddenly feel the slight weakness in my left arm/leg. I felt it for months, and at first I thought my fat ass was exercising wrong and not warming up properly or something
