Anyone else regret not telling more family members about link?

I don't know why, but it never occurred to me to tell anyone about chainlink. My cousin just got laid off at his job, and a couple other people in my family are looking for work, and I feel bad. Is it too late to get them on board?

Fuck no. I tried telling those normies about Bitcoin. "Hurr durr. Too risky." They can stay poor

Maybe for link, but you should definitely get them on board with defi. Getting in on defi right now is like getting in on BTC in 2014 or earlier.

If you tell them and it pumps they will know you have money and target you/ask you for more when they inevitably cash out and miss the top.

If you tell them and it dumps, they'll forever blame you and eternally hate you.

They had 3 years.

no. keep it to yourself. they will sell too early or too late anyways.

not really. Most of them would have laffed. I told the one guy who follows crypto & he did not care so my job is done

Oh yeah, shilled link for my dad at $0,30.
He bought last week and actually sold at $7.
He doesnt deserve sergey.
My brother also holds link and he listens to me when I told him to hold

Why should I?

I told someone they should buy at 4k and i explained stock to flow, etc etc and they were like haha no, but then this same person went out and dropped 5k on fucking penny stocks.

So much this

My little brother won $1800 in a collegiate smash tournament back in summer 2018, when link was around 30 cents. Told him to put it all in LINK. Instead he took it to my father, who put it in bonds.

>Anyone else regret not telling more family members about link?
Absolutely not, without question.

I love my family, and such knowledge can only corrupt everyones relationship. Even if you made them buy at 20 cents, you think they would just hold for literally 3 years? And then you hold for even more and get even more money? Or them just knowing you have access to all that money and just holding it.
All of this fucks up human relationships, I have 25K LINK and I pretend as if it doesn't even exist with everyone I know.

But I will make sure to take care of my parents in their old age very well.

lmfao kid would have 60,000 USD

>collegiate smash
>bonds in a 100% yoy dollar supply inflation
your family is destined to be poor. short every decision they make and you will be a god

>told friends about it forever
>they finally bought at $12 during the pump
>were going to sell because of this months dump but I kept telling them no
Weak hands aren't meant to make it, it wouldn't surprise me if they sell at $20.

retard. most people here will sell too late too. they didnt even sell at fucking 20 and held all the way down to here.

never give anyone financial advice. ever.

>selling

Tried this, they just wanted me to do it for them and keep them updated. Didn't feel like taking the inevitable drama when i make a bad call and they're all "i thought you said this shit was gonna explode! Where's my money user!?" Decided its better not to deal with it. Most people don't care to learn new things especially something somewhat technical. More so if they are over 65. Im glad Boomers don't get it, they had their chance and fucked themselves and everybody else.

>is it too late?
Not when FOMO exists

Go ahead and tell people with no disposable income to invest into something highly risky.

why did i even step into a linkie thread. your useless shitcoin will go to the dirt.

Yes.

my mom likes the idea but she isn't good enough on a computer so I guess she's going to wait for crypto custodians.

It's the 21st century. You literally HAVE to learn a new skill at least every 5-10 years or you will either get fucked over or get pigeonholed in a job you hate. I met this guy that's almost 70 who's a fucking genius that understands this, and he's still able to find jobs while most people his age were basically forced into retirement.

I am struggling with this now. I have a sibling that I am close with and I never told them. is it too late? I am thinking of making them a coinbase account and sending some link

Back when the price went from $1.30 to .80c people said the same thing
>HAHA LINKIE YOUR TOKEN IS USELESS IT GO DOWN IN PRICE
As if the price has anything to due with token usage. if you were aware of the space you would know that chainlink is the most used product in the entire space and is the reason you have all of these DeFi products.

Don't tell people you care about to invest in anything. If they lose their investment they will blame it on you and you will damage your relationship.

I told some and most ignored, claimed they had "bills", and the ones that did bought maybe $50 worth. Fuck em.

„Isn’t bitcoin that thing you can buy drugs and guns with? I don’t wanna have something to do with this kind of stuff“

I should have told my bro. Is it even worth it to tell him now? he could probably put in $1000

They would buy high and sell low worse than /biz so fuck no I'm not telling them. I'll help once I make it but that is a recipe for disaster there is a reason most people don't make money in the market they are retarded.

We are selling at $1000+

sorry, do u mean 'Yes' you regret it, or 'Yes' it's too late

These are good points. But is Link considered risky? Maybe I am brainwashed from this forum but it seems like a sure bet

My Dad was pretty cool with it " oh cool, nice that you try something like that. If it does the same like bitcoin it would be a nice investment." My stepdad was like " did you try to cash out, try it, you'll see it woulndt work ". My mom was like "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE NONONONO"

They wouldn’t have bought.

I got my dad to get the free crypto from Coinbase and had him turn it all into Chainlink.

He has a hundred stack because I made him do it $2-4, I’m basically the best son around for this alone.

He watched it pump to $20 then was mad about not buying more. Told him around $8 this was close to bottom if he wanted to buy, didn’t.

At least he isn’t selling until 1KEOY, since he understand what LINK is, but I seriously don’t understand why he won’t put a few more bucks in.

>tl;dr my dad is in infinity profit from LINK, he’ll still expect me to wipe his feeble ass after telling him about the ticket to freedom
