Good question.
OpenSea's NFT's have the ability to sell for ETH (actually WETH) and any tokens that have been added by the NFT creator that are also built into OpenSea's platform.
One of the functions of the social token option does is allow for "discounting" price to collectors and "fans." Social tokens (like JBG) get airdropped and tipped using Discord bots to community members and so they can get advantage from using regular ETH.
Even if an NFT is listed for some social token, ETH/WETH can always be "offered" for that listing and accepted by the seller.
