Pretty much this. TrustSwap did exactly what it was intended to, the secured tokens can't be sold/moved around until the agreed date.

It needs to be made clear that TS isn't the be all/end all of crypto security. This is just one piece of a bigger whole in making crypto much safer for the average joe. Still need to do your own research as projects can still "dump" for many other reasons.

For everyone who isnt a brainlet. Literally every post in this thread with the exception off this one is from a telegram group. They aim to be the gud boiizz that take down scammers. When they have literally no power, no voice and no influence.

So which is it? You say we should in invest in Swap to prevent rugpulls, but then you're defending swap for NOT preventing a rugpull.

Even if that was the case and the posters here were from a tg group, that doesn't make them wrong. Swap are a joke and deserve to be called out

If locking up team tokens becomes a requirement along with locking liquidity pools and by restricting or at least locking up the ability to mint more tokens. Once that is the standard for creating a new coin we can be free from rugpulls. I agree that the pr over reached especially jeff's tweets, but it is still a future we can all work for and swap can be a part of it

The tweet Jeff made about rug pulls was dumb for sure, but it is true the locks were successful and that's what it is designed for. If you want a project aiming to stop rugpulls then look into LID or DGVC.
