Good product but you might as well put your money into coins that actually do something

BAT is for swinging a few times a year for steady gains

What's a make it/suicide stack? I have about 40k of bat right now.

From a risk management standpoint this is one of the best projects out there. Never stays above .30 but never goes below .10. Just buy and sell forever.

10k suicide stack, 100k to make it unironically. Once this thing actually does pump based on the actual performance of the ad ecosystem there will be no looking back. If anons can't grasp the fundamentals of what it takes to actually build a business infrastructure like Brave is doing that's their problem. Of course the probability is non zero that may never happen but I'd wager that that chance is < 10%. There's a lot to unpack with this company but you better believe that it's one of the only viable one's in crypto. In 10 years time only a handful of coins/tokens will be around that exists today, and this will be one of them.

These Saturday threads used to have 200+ replies now they can’t break 10.

Well to be fair its a nice night out throughout all the US and BAT holders are known to be pretty social people so they're probably out celebrating a nice evening. Or they're all demoralized because the price has collapsed back to sub .25 levels. Plus the brapper guy hasn't shown up yet, he usually runs these threads but I think he said he was out on a business trip for the next week or two. I'm drinking brews and updating meme atlas tonight so I figured I'd take the responsibility this time. So far I'm doing a pretty poor job. Good thing I have to name 1500 memes to keep me busy while bumping the thread.

People are looking at this from too narrow of a time frame and writing it off just as things are starting to heat up. It took facebook and google nearly 7 years to hit their first billion. They are adding that about every 5-10 days now. This is a marathon, not a sprint, and anyone who has been in crypto long enough or any market knows that capital preservation is just as important as big gains. Just made $7k off a two day uniswap trade, but BAT is a safer long term option with potential for high rewards.

With that being said I think another crypto pullback could happen soon. Its going to flush a lot of tokens, and BAT will take a hit, but it will be a really good roken to accumulate. If we go through another bear market BAT will be the only token with actual performance metrics and news headlines. You are looking at a company that is about to break the holy grail of 25m users. This is not an easy feat, and profitability is forecasted to be hit in a few months. Its not a homerun yet, but this looks like something that could take off wildly given the right conditions. Consider that it has never pumped and monthly active users have doubled that of bitcoin. Brave/BAT is a sleeper that should be on everyones radar and accumulation list.

Based. Props for always supporting the BATlads. Your site is A+ too.

Going to be getting stoned and watching UFC, but I'll try to add to the discussion or dump some thots during.

Brap user is that you? Good to have you back.

Solid points all around. For those of us with insight to how actual businesses are built this is really a no brainer. I hate to appeal to authority but if there's a guy who can do it its Eich. Not only that but you know that the VC's want to see a return on investment too so they're going to be pushing this ad tech in their circles as well. I mean as I'm typing this a Lenovo ad popped up and before that an Amazon one. These companies don't just throw money away on advertising, they expect a return as well. There's a strong implication that they're seeing one with Brave because they keep coming back to run more campaigns. We unironically have around 2 years max to accumulate, if not less. I'm pumped bros.

oof, this is a slow BAT thread...

Also not much for TA but this is some of the lowest volume I've ever seen on the charts. We're due for another dump most likely, which for some of us means a great entry point. Just a thought.

Yeah we are definitely running out of time on this accumulation window i feel. Theres just too much momentum building. I have been keeping track of social and growth metrics for a few years and there has been a pretty big shift. The consensus used to be that brave was never going to catch on and that people like firefox and chrome too much. Now the narrative is switching to degoogling and firefox supporters are fed up. People are jumping on the brave bandwaggon and recommending it more and more. Its going to take a little bit of time but brave is now starting to gain a considerable marketshare. Brave has done a pretty good job of building a userbase of lead users that recommend the browser for free while brave just doubles down on product development. They really havent even begun to start marketing yet. The pieces are starting to move into place. Ad buy growth is also steadily increasing. Accumulate and watch this beast grow.

Solid points all around. Not to mention that while users are important, the companies that use the ad platform will be the biggest drivers of adoption of Brave in my opinion. The reason being is that it appears that google banner ads are all but deprecated in today's current ad environment, and companies are always looking for an edge to reach potential and repeat customers. With that in mind Brave offers a unique advantage in the ad world due to the fact that it leverages something new and exciting (crypto coupled with a browser) which allows companies to appear more innovative to your average Brave user, which in turn causes more engagement with the ad. The justification for this is the fact that we as users on here and plebbit actively recognize the companies that advertise on the browser because we see them as innovative and allies in the current ad war (not to be too dramatic), which leads to higher engagement rates. That's not even considering the microtransaction potential either. Either way there's a strong incentive for companies to use Brave for even a fraction of their ad campaign.

> hope this wall of text make's sense, I'm getting pretty tuned up on IPA's as we speak.

Lmao just realized they barely have one and it barely has any BAT related shit
Are they destined to fail? Because it seems like it but by the looks from it they'll just salvage it with Brave (because unlike BAT it's a 100% working product but that's not saying much) stripping all BAT features

Joined the Brave train about a week ago, got 3 bat now. gonna make it one day lads

This was when I first realized that I'm gonna make it.

Early adopters are going to be seriously rewarded if brave pans out. Back when google first launched advertisers were hesitant to allocate spend on digital ads. The people who picked it up early made serious money and then competition started driving CPC's so hight that facebook looked really appealing. Now facebook is starting to feel competition creep and advertisers are allocating their marketing budget for experimental things like twitter etc. Where brave really stands out is that they have a system that reduces fraud, theres low competition, and they reach an audience that is basically unreachable. Clickthrough rates are also absurd and the rate limiting seems like a good proposition. If you only see a few ads while browsing, those few ads stand out more even if there is no engagement so cpm models are also effective.

Brave really just needs to improve their ad suite and ramp up users and opt in rates. The best thing they could do near term is make a heavy international push because google doesnt have as big of an international presence and brave will be able to milk some low hanging ad revenue.

The most insane part of that ad is that they ran new tab page ads and push notifications at a point when state level targeting was not available. They basically said "we dont even care if states or cities that dont have locations see this"

Just wait until more major fast food chains start running campaigns for their specials. Literally billions of dollars worth of yearly ad spend for fast food specials and brave is a great way to reach people.

I had 1k but sold it and put it in uni. I feel like it’s still too early on this one. When I start seeing ads for businesses other than crypto and exchanges on my browser I’ll take another look.

Better look closer.. 1.5 Mil bat purchased by Brave this month.

lmao... there it is boys. How will linkies react when McDonalds runs its first ad?

Well said user.

what are some ways that i can get a bunch of ads from this brave browser thing.
Also, is this browser actually the best browser? I found that my 2009macbook is running really smoothly once i started to use brave

Thats on you. Give your browser more categories to serve ads from. If all you're doing is going on Zig Forums and exchanges, all you're going to get are exchange and crypto ads.

Make sure to diversify and go into your 7 day ads history and like/dislike certain ads and categories so you get more or less of them.

Glad to be back, though this thread is dead as fuck for Saturday, kek. How's the IPAs treating you?

BAT isn't needed as a token. It's a glorified tipping platform. IF it was needed it would be $5+ by now.

Look into Verasity bro. It's over.

>verasity
lol who tf keeps coming into the big brain BAT bro threads to shill VRA? you might as well go post in a random DeFi scam coin thread to convince them.

BAT seemingly doesn't have any big news on the horizon that has been alluded to recently aside from the things we already know.

Does anyone know how difficult it would have been to convince apple to allow Brave as a default browser? Is that a big deal?

The biggest question I have is what stops Google from just copying Brave?

What’s the best way to farm BAT with brave. I set it to give me 5 ads an hour but some hours I get literally 0 ads.

Right? Imagine trying to shill the most rational group of coin holders. Most BAT holders are long game and understand business. You wont convince a single person in here to buy verasity.

Also i think the default browser wasnt too difficult to pull off, i think they just had to go through a review process. Not big news, but it should help in driving up DAU's on IOS devices. No other major news that i can think of on the horizon other than maybe that they are still pushing on themis. Theres some research being done on github for POCs. Ultimately it seems that right now the main efforts are in getting the ad system rolled out and just trying to stay the course with user growth.

come one user... Is this not a real ad?

Fucking kill yourself you piece of shit. Verasity is a no name piece of garbage shit. Why do you waste your time. Show me a picture Verasity’s leader, I fucking guarantee you his head is a little tiny fucking peanut compared to the monstrosity of a noggin Eich has.
Eichs head inspires greatness and instills fear in the weaklings like yourself. Tremble before its might you faggot cuck.

Maybe he isnt in a first world country.

Drinking generic southern tier 2x IPA I got from sheetz. I drink once in a while so when I get a 6 pack I try to get higher alcohol brews. But its pretty good, can't complain. Have some homemade mead from a friend I might dig into later, not trying to stay up too late though, I'd like to be productive tomorrow. But ya this thread is dead, what gives?

i can barely remember what prl was

This has been discussed before so I'm gonna have to dig it up. But basically if Google were to adopt a Brave style ad delivery system they would be explicitly implying that their own ad delivery system was broken and ineffective, which is obviously something they can't do. Essentially their a slave to their own (past) success which doesn't leave room for innovation in the future.

I've gotten Amazon ads.

Additionally their entire business model is based around user data. The appeal of Brave is privacy

I believe that is probably why google is doubling down trying to roll out their new web package standard which would ruin privacy and ad blockers for internet users. I forget the correct term for it, but i've heard theres ongoing discussion in the usa about it.

I remember reading Man Economy and State, and Rothbard pointed out that with was the curse of big corporations and attempted monopolies, the inefficiency, low speed in adapting to new consumer trends and technology, which allows startups to break in and continually steal market share (without governments providing heaps of crony regulations and laws to protect the big companies). Thanks user
