Going off grid, having no mortgage or rent payment, while collecting a salary and investing. You can literally make it in a few years. The question is how long before other zoomers catch on and everyone starts building mortgage free cabins on their own paid for plot of land
This is how you build wealth quickly
>own paid for plot of land
>property taxes
The cabin yes. But dont forget property tax.
Fuxking retard
>even a small minority of zoomers socialized in a high tech world
>going off grid
I keked
property tax would be effectively nothing if you live on an acre in a rural area in a smaller home
they wont. very few people are willing to make the sacrifices necessary for debt free living in the modern world. Even if they're a 'financially responsible' normie, they'll still so brainwashed by the current culture that they'll get a mortage to live in the shittiest part of the city. Everyone else is renting because they 'cant afford a house' without the self awareness to know that they're throwing their money away. (no equity)
why the fuck would you do this? isnt it better to try and make more money than you can spend rather than cutting expenses.
>make more money than you can spend
no such thing.
I never said don't make less money. You should live a cheaply as possible while making as much money as you can. Going rural cabin life is the best way
If youre still working in the city it may seem like nothing. If youre trying to live off the land, its a fortune
This is pretty much what I've concluded. I've already pretty much made it with crypto but looking back on the journey I realize we've all been fed boomer lies. Get into debt to go to college and waste your early 20s then somehow get an "entry level" job wage cucking in soul crushing job. Correct move is to not get into debt at all and lower expenses to almost nothing. Off grid cabin is one way to do it, or live in a van if you have to. Once your expenses are nothing you'll naturally find ways to add value for other people and make money, which you can then use to make more money. You'll literally regain your humanity via your survival instinct.
Its not boomer lies you retard they're probably less awakenedith than you. Its jewish lies
>Going off grid, having no mortgage or rent payment, while collecting a salary and investin
How does one get a salary when the nearest road is 8 miles away?
That's always the catch. Freelance remote work can be rough if you are not consistent
It is you cum bucket, boomers were the first generation where you could leave the family farm, walk up to a company with no experience and be hired the same day, work you way up the ranks staying at one company, support an entire young family and easily buy a big house in the suburbs that 10x in value when you retire. Those rules can't work low interest rates causing malinvestment into asset bubbles (instead small business), women doubling the work force, mass immigration of spics and niggers, regulations that 3-4x the cost of business. Sure it's da jooz with the cultural subversion and central banking but the boomers are the cunts that sold out to them.
>get your lazy ass up and out to that road you fucking retard
hmmm....BOTH would be ideal you fucking clown
Cutting expenses is better per $1. In order to increase net by a $1 wagecucking not only do you have to work for the $1 but also the income tax let's say 25%. So you have to work for $1.25 to get $1. But you much constantly maintain this which costs you in time, opportunity cost, mental health, physical health. All up it's probably more like $2 to get net $1. Whereas if you just drop your expenses you run to the finish line a lot quicker, especially if you invest what you saved.
sounds like a good setup for a horror story
What's the bucket for user, hmmmmmmm????????
It's probably just a grey water sink for brushing his teeth.
Shitty internet connection and and too far away from any decent work. Only good if you're already retired. Do the smart thing and move to cambodia or live with ur parents till u made it.
Imagine
>you have a wheelbarrow full of shiny rocks
>you're in a race where at the end you can have a lifetime supply of shiny rocks
>you can drop a bunch or all of them and get there faster, and/or get stronger legs
>what do you do?
This, think who lends, who promotes materialism, degeneracy, miscengenation etc. the boomers still haven't figured out who controls them.
It really depends on the effort required on either making more money or cutting expenses and their respective marginal returns, it always depends on the context.
This. We have all been robbed and stripped of our innocence by being involuntarily transformed into dopamine craving hedonists. We live lives of quiet desperation
You can still have a car and live in a rural area in a cabin. Im talking about not having a mortgage and not living in a city
Oh also, isnt living off grid illegal now?
Off grid checking in. I don’t do what OP is suggesting, kinda fucking retarded to live in the woods imo but to each there own. Definitely don’t buy into inflated housing market. Find a way to avoid neet life and 30yr mortgage while still making money. I do traveling construction for a niche company that pays for everything as long as I sell them my time on the road. I bank ~90% of my checks. Rest goes to baby bills like personal car insurance/cellphone bill. Food, hotels, gas, tools and vehicle paid for by company.
Most people don’t want to do it cause muh family. Do it while your single/young. Literally reverse college. I’m youngest dude on our team, most older guys want out. There’s room for new blood all the time cause high turnover. Not for everyone but definitely a way to break the system.
kys retard
I've heard it's a pain in the ass to do in the UK, and of course there's countries like North Korea and Venezuela where I think it's actually legally impossible. But it should be legal for most US counties and eurocuck countries. If you're truly far out of the city it is not only possible but expected. If you can't get power lines or water pipes to your land then you are automatically off grid.
Yeah just go off grid with your dog and fuck your dog. Very smart.
cutting expenses is easier for most people than boosting income.
I kinda did the same as you are suggesting. Graduated debt free from scholarships, cheap state school, and working 90+ hour weeks in the construction during the summer.
Got on with an oil company out of school. Work crazy hours, remote locations, and dedicate pretty much my entire life to it but they pay for everything. Throw 80% of my paycheck in crypto for 2 years and now I'm doing better than 99% of other people my age. I still haven't made it yet but I have to believe sacrificing your early 20s was worth it for me
