i have no idea. both my grandfathers are american heroes, one of them became a very successful businessman. both my parents are turbonormie assholes worried about how they look instead of how they are.

my dad is 1 of 5 kids from a poor rural household and he went on to drive a semi truck
my mom is 1 of 3 kids from a middle class household and went to college but ended up working clerical positions for most of her life until she went back to college again to become a nurse which shes been for the last 15 years

i'm an only child so we've never struggled and i'm going to be the first person from either side to really be able to build generational wealth thanks to my parents helping me financially throughout young adulthood and the ease of trading now

my father came to America from Eastern Europe as a poor immigrant that didnt speak english and in a single generation has a net worth of over a million dollars with multiple real estate properties and half a million in his 401k, paid for my college tuition in cash. My parents actually escaped poverty and gave me a very spolied life desu. Im very grateful for that. Even sometimes they mocked me for buying shitcoins because they only trust stocks and index funds.

My dad's a millionaire from inherited wealth and stocks as well as renting land. Probably won't see any of it since he hates me for being autistic and only informs my brother about the finances. Didn't even know our family were stealth millionaires until my brother told me in my late 20s.

It makes me sad though that I’ll probably never do what my dad or grandfather managed to do. My great grandfather came from Germany and busted his ass and had 9 kids, but My grandpa had no choice to join the military. He then went to college on the GI bill and now has a 25 million dollar net worth after starting a profitable business with my dad. nobody has made generational wealth like Zig Forums talks about but we've gone from white immigrant poverty to the top 3% in two generations. No trust funds but we have such a solid foundation to build on

I have such unending respect for my parents, grandparents, great-grandparents (who figured out America for the rest of us) and great-great-grandparents (who decided to immigrate).
