My friend got a 2:2 history degree and jumped straight into a London IT sales job, something commission based. Computacenter or some silly name like that, but actually a big profitable company.
He had natural gab and charm, and an interest in computers, and an IQ about 5 or 10 points higher than the national average. Most retards working there think he is some kind of genius, because they couldn’t even build a PC out of parts and think binary is something to do with gender.
My advice - go into IT sales, learn all you can about a specific niche (cloud based infrastructure and services are big right now). Learn how to be a good salesman. Don’t work for a small shit salary.
Forgot to say, he has made absolute bank there and is now worth around a million, luck played a part with a couple hundred K from London house prices, but the rest was basically just him earning commission.
He had to be a company dog, but it was arguably 100% worth it. Plus living in London in your 20’s , working all night then going out on the razz, shagging some slag, then getting up at 7:30 am like everyone else in the office sounds fun.
