Xerox invented the computer mouse and windowed computer interface, but simply sat on its ass instead of releasing these huge innovations. So Apple and Microsoft just stole the ideas and actually delivered them.
The same will happen to Chainlink: they're sitting on the next great innovation for crypto and legacy finance; but that's all they're doing: sitting on it. So competitors will take Chainlink's concepts and actually deliver them.
>The same will happen to Chainlink Based on what? Your experience?
Liam Price
You wanted "source" for a prediction I'm making?
Are you literally 12?
Ryder Stewart
>prediction Okay
Carson Wright
don't hurt their feelings, they don't know any better
Brandon Robinson
OP is right. The Chainlink project is almost dead in the water. Radio silence from the skeleton crew they call their "team". The pivotal tracker is a ghost town.
There are real competitors in the shadows ready to swoop and deliever a real, honest product. But forget about superficial attempts like BAND Protocol. There is only one battle-tested project best positioned to win this and become the standard of decentralized oracle networks - Mobius.
The Chainlinkers will dismiss the post as a meme but they will get what they deserve.
> fucking band is going to deliver and other hilarious tall tales I agree with you op but thinking band is anything more than chink collusion is cope
Blake Morgan
It's a word, look it up.
Gavin Nguyen
>So competitors will take Chainlink's concepts and actually deliver them Network E F F E C T S
Carson Roberts
Usually predictions are based somewhere.
Chase Sanders
I agree with OP. Also China will support BAND much faster than say the US or European countries supporting LINK. t. OG linker who sold at $19 and went all-in BAND
Easton Mitchell
how do i buy xerox token not on uniswap pls tell
Gavin Gray
Band is a blatant copycat that literally pays Pajeets for social media marketing, see pic. They also pay projects like Loopring to announce "partnerships".
BUT unlike Chainlink they are going to be actually motivated to release features, so they can be ahead of Chainlink which is dragging its feet.
Band has co-opted a bunch of Chainlink's network already, most recently Loopring. When they actually release full mainnet (beyond Defi) before Chainlink, that's when the fun starts.
Then ask what I'm basing my prediction on. Asking for "source" for a prediction just makes you look like an ESL retard.
My prediction is based on Chainlink being extremely slow to release the features it promised three years ago.
Nicholas King
>My prediction is based on Chainlink being extremely slow to release the features it promised three years ago. And on the fact that Chainlink missed the Q3 integration window set by Oracle 9 fucking months ago.
Luke Green
checked I can't tell the difference between third worlders and bots kek. Band will always lag behind link because they don't have the innovative and creative capacity. Zero whites on team = laggards
Benjamin Richardson
You seem very upset though. Nevertheless, thanks for answering fag.
>Band will always lag behind link because they don't have the innovative and creative capacity Chainlink is doing all the innovative and creative work for Band.
Like pic related; all Band has to do is steal the ideas and concepts (open source) and beat Chainlink to the punch since they're so slow.
>There are real competitors in the shadows ready to swoop and deliever a real, honest product. But forget about superficial attempts like BAND Protocol. There is only one battle-tested project best positioned to win this and become the standard of decentralized oracle networks - Mobius. HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Grayson Jackson
It's just a prediction I made kek
Oliver Gutierrez
Nice self own.
Julian Reyes
> chinks gonna chink yeah that's the reality of things user. Don't feed them too much information otherwise they adapt with their spider web consciousness. Remember when Witnet and orcalize were huge threats? Only difference with band is they have sponsorship from other chinks like cz
actually the chainlink dev team is dumping millions of dollars worth of tokens on linkies and other morons, every week, lol. why would they do anything to develop anything now? they made it, sergey is now worth 8 figures, fuck does he care about anything lmao?
Hunter Walker
Source on that hot take?
Samuel Lewis
> dumps 700k right on your face hot and stinky thank you master partnership confirmed
>oracles are as simple as a computer mouse if anything you should compare it to a keyboard just that every other keyboard than chainlinks has half it's keys missing
Eli Phillips
Sergey told us he'd use 2/3rds of the token supply for development and nodes. The "dumps" would not be a problem if he actually delivered.
But so far, it's been three years of only taking and no delivering.
Caleb Stewart
>they're sitting on the next great innovation for crypto and legacy finance; but that's all they're doing: sitting on it. how can one user be so wrong
Landon Gutierrez
How am I wrong?
Features promised in the 2017 white paper: >staking >reputation >order matching >aggregation >threshold signatures >enclaves (SGX) >service-level agreements
Features actually released so far, after three whole years and many dozens of millions of $: >aggregation in its most basic form: averaging
