X9 has been doing a hard-fork, upgrading the core wallet and the MN network to enable TPoS cold staking which is going live within a week. This has already been explained a dozen times over.
XSN fud is so rehashed and redundant it wouldn't surprise me at all if it mostly came from one person. It all reads similarly and like it was written by someone who's emotionally invested, bitter, and finding any tiny irrelevant thing they can magnify and screech about.

I don't see how releasing 4.0.4 during the middle of a hard fork makes sense.
Stakenet DEX is clearly a working product and X9's pursuits with ERCs have been vetted and verified multiple times by the Raiden devs.

XSN has been on cold storage devices for almost 2 years. Ledger sat on the code they gave them from 2019 into July or August of this year.

Irrelevant mental gymnastics aside, Raiden is very clearly on its way and that's were buying in now will provide for excellent returns.
1.) DEX hubs -> multiple hubs -> MN network (Hydra). If they have a superior product, why would people not use it? A lot of people said that about all DEXs at this time last year.
2.) Block rewards are split 45/45/10 between staking/MN rewards/treasury fund. You can stake with 100 XSN. You can stake with 1 million. You can stake the traditional way, or through TPoS, or you can lock your XSN in MNs.
Profitability between MNs and staking is intra-competitive, determined by the ratio of XSN on both sides. If, for example, there's a lot more XSN in staking than in MNs, MNs will be more profitable and vice-versa.

no one has a full working product. uni has a scaling problem and eth wants to go to PoS.
people use them more than xsn - that is the only difference between the projects. granted, it's a significant difference, but that doesn't mean the devs approaching product development in the same manner is bad.
xsn devs are literally following the same approach as every other project trying to do something unique and useful, and they're the only ones getting flak for not naming a date.
it's whatever. buy the coin, don't buy the coin, it makes no difference to me in the end. the product itself will either see good use, or it will fail. I'm betting on it succeeding, but if it fails then so be it.

it honestly doesn't. the team has delivered on a functional layer 2 solution already, which is more than any other developer but loopring.
arguing about "why don't they set a date" is concern trolling - most developers in crypto avoid calling dates like that because missing dates kills a project regardless of fundamentals, and devs rely on project viability to fund development.
if you want you can blame the fickle nature of crypto investors for a general lack of clear timelines being defined for most unique or innovative products, but it's 100% concern trolling to blame a single project uniquely for that choice.

v4.0.4 makes the DEX a lot easier to use for normies. Introducing something that makes the DEX easy and accessible during the middle of a fork where complications may arise would be foolish.
I'm more than happy to wait until October 8th for all the heavy lifting with the fork to wrap up. I think most people would say it's outright reasonable and sensible that they'd hold off on doing UI updates during all this.
