I sold at a 65% loss. It hurts so much bros.
Trustswap
Anyone still holding this?
Tried to swing, got absolutely rekt last past week. Moved on now
looks depresssed to me
y u sell now
the team on discord talks about mobiepay and chaingames more than fucking trustswap. i hate them
I’m so glad I bought at .06 and sold at 1.20 I wasn’t sure about it at the time but it was a smart move on my part. I really wanted to believe in it as a project
>ever selling at a loss
I hope you had to pay off some bills or something. It is hard to hold through these weeks but why sell? I hope you do all of this mental math before you invest in something next time
>Tfw staked
I'm in it for the long haul now. Still in profit but god damn who could have predicted this brutal price action.
The loss is only going to get worse. Sometimes the best decision is to jump out of the car before it goes full speed off a cliff lol
Yeah the community there is shitty. There are maybe a couple reasonable people and like one or two mods that aren't crazy but it is full of immature investors and whining about airdrops or mobiepay like you said
jeff ruined it
I just had to cut my losses before this went to 20 cents.
I'm truly disappointed, I had such high hopes in thisi
Same thing on TG. They get all holier than though any time you ask about the multitude of fuck ups with fake claims by Jeff, problems with the air drops/presales, and terrible UI/UX on their websites.
It is still a baby. I am going to hold until a set date. I set a goal of a year or 6 usd whichever comes first. This coin is still going places just need to take emotion out of it
$6 USD? This token has no real use case, other than providing undefined rewards to holders. The hope is that usage picks up so there will be meaningful rewards. But based on the shit image crisis currently affecting Jeff and TrustSwap, it's certainly going to be a bumpy road.
I went on the TS Discord and r e a l i z e d.
Well mobiepay and aubit haven't pulled out over the hatch thing. Hopefully devs just stay away from the discord and telegram. If you don't go into those places the image of the company is fine. The liteliger stuff is mostly that he doesn't like anyone on the team anyway so of course the token is shit. The dirt cheap escrow and subscription services are what is being hyped up anymore
There were huge issues with the KYC approvals for the mobie pay presale last night. A lot of people got shut out.
Huh. I didn't even try to get the presale. Is that a swap issue or a mobiepay issue? Why was swap doing the kyc?
It was an issue with the third-party KYC company they chose to run the background checks. But it's just yet another problem in a steady stream of issues and lack of transparency. I wouldn't be so annoyed if they ever took accountability for all the fuck ups, but somehow every issue with companies they work with end with Jeff/Trust Swap blaming the company or the investors for not DYOR'ing.
From reading the medium article swap is doing kyc according to the guidelines that mobepay set. Looks like it takes at least 3 days to get it handled and the presale was yesterday? I could see it being a mess
The issue was that so many people's documents were rejected despite being legit, because they came from a variety of different countries and languages, which it seemed like the KYC company wasn't prepared for.
Yeah. It seems like career suicide to take accountability for anything though. You never see ceos or politicians taking accountability for even little things so I imagine that is a reflection of the current culture. Jeff seems to be taking feedback and says that he is implementing new policies around the feedback he is getting. It might just be a stupid decision to apologize though because everyone would just read that he is taking the blame and to never trust him again. But I do see that people are mad at him for not apologizing or taking blame. It looks like a lose lose situation that swap could have avoided but unfortunately didn't. But to hold it against a whole project just seems like emotional investing
That sucks. They should have hired the right company to handle it. But I am not too familiar with the ins and outs of that world. I know that kyc for different exchanges are still rough and not very user friendly
Considering he blamed everyone for taking him at his word for saying TrustSwap would end rug pulls and then they hosted token locks for projects that in fact rug pulled, I think apologies aren't a bad idea. Instead, he doubled down and blamed everyone but himself, calling those affected "idiots who don't DYOR." That's not a good look from your CEO.
Well, when it's a race to get your KYC approved ASAP so you get into the limited supply presale, those kind of fuck ups are costly and aggravating.
Not to mention the ChainGames airdrop required you to create an account and then pay gas fees to claim it, which for many, the gas fees cost several times more than the ChainGames tokens were worth. Just seems like they don't think really consider the customer experience in anything they do.
Yeah but if you are talking about hatch the token locks worked. The issue was minting new coins. I agree that his tweet was ridiculous and put too many expectations on anything swap is involved with. We will have to see if chaingames or mobiepay rugpull because those are the only two official trustswap launchpad tokens. I am definitely interested in how this plays out. Unfortunately about the tweets leaders can say any stupid thing over twitter and it doesn't matter lol
Yeah I agree about chaingames. They said that I have to use a desktop to get the tokens and I don't own a desktop right now. Definitely not user friendly. I am still just holding my bags though. I imagine that the feedback is being listened to and we will see the project get better and better
still holding
thought the price was so low already that there was no point left in selling.
i hold tons of these kind of shitcoins
mayb 1 of 100 will make it in the end.
I agree. I'm definitely not selling this low, but there's a reason the price got this low in the first place, and the TG/Discord groupies seem to be in denial that they need a significant image rehab and to clean up the sloppy UX/UI with everything related to TrustSwap right now.
Here's my issue. Jeff and Adam have both been in this space for a while and have created a few tokens/companies already. They're not some totally green CEOs. Yet their entire approach to TrustSwap has been very amateurish and rife with sloppiness. Just reeks of being in a rush to make money rather than trying to make things polished and ideal for their end users, both the actual design and the tokenomics of air drops/presales associated with TrsuSwap.
yup, this is what finally drove me to sell
Also, every time someone asked about claiming the ChainGames air drop, they tried to send them to TG/Discord. WTF? Put this info on Twitter and your website. Most of us don't want to use shitty messaging apps for Zoomers.
Jeff made a shitty Medium clone, and that was apparently enough to develop a reputation of trust on the likes of Coinbase or Kraken
Is that what Uptrennd is? I've never used or looked at it.
Oh, I forgot to mention my favorite fuck up: If you're staking and want to add more tokens, you first have to unstake your tokens, wait 7 days, and then restake, thereby missing out on potential rewards. WHO THE FUCK DESIGNED SUCH A SHIT SYSTEM?
I get that 100% I am still holding my bag as well. I do think that the coin is still young though. It definitely comes across as them expecting people to know about dyor and the risks of investing, or even like you said how to qualify for airdrops. I think that they are forgetting how it can be to be someone who has never learned the ins and outs of cryptocurrency. That's why I am keeping my emotions off of the product and giving it a year to make me money. This is definitely not my biggest hold either. I think right now I am just giving them a chance to improve the company before I pull out. Hopefully they will improve and make us both a bit more rich
