>people don't like your restaurant
>NOO PEOPLE ARE DESTROYING IT
i bet whoever wrote this or whoever is ceo of applebees is a woman, they are unavailable to take responsibility

millennials kill everything just like boomers killed horse carriages and telegraph

intelligent response

Honestly not sure. Millenials eat out like crazy, heard a statistic that we're the first generation to spend more money eating out than on groceries. It's either the quality of the food, or the "atmosphere" of applebees, and I'm guessing it's the latter.

>Boomers fuck up the economy and millenials opportunities
>BUY THE BOAT BIGGOT
>STOP KILLING BUFFALO WILD WINGS YOU ENTITLED PIECE OF SHIT

And western civilization and the white race

God I love being a Millenial.

What franchise should we destroy next Millenial bros? Professional media like the piece of shit business that produced this article?

honestly being a millennial is so empowering. we take down corporations and industries on a whim daily it seems.

It's because nobody can afford to buy a home, raise a family, etc so a lot of millennials have a "fuck it" attitude, which is why they spend all of their money on eating out, traveling.

And space travel

Let's go fuck up Little Caesars, gang!

Any idea why specifically restaurants like applebees, Buffalo wild wings, etc aren't being frequented though? Do millenials just mostly want quick food, or do they actually go for quality over atmosphere?

I ate applebee's before and the food was garbage.

Because the food sucks, that is why. Honestly no better than the swill at a McDonald's or Wendy's plus not having to pay a tip for mediocre service.

Buffalo wild wings isnt just dogshit
its overpriced dogshit.

not to mention you can get better wings from any mom and pop pizza shop.

A bunch of greasy bleak looking nuggets dont look like you're living your best life on instagram now does it?

gah it really is garbage. only decent drinks and even then it's mostly nasty ol genXers wannting to bee the cool crowd but too bald to pull it off. makes me want to leave there, go to my computer, and watch some memes with the kekes from the pepes and the LOKIs

I certainly can't speak for every millenial, but I don't bother eating out anymore because it's basically dukkha

They don't know what millennials want. If any Applebee's C's are reading this please understand that it's not personal, it's just if I'm spending money on food I'd like it to taste good. It's worse than burger King and I fucking hate burger King. Buffalo wild wings is actually not bad, but it's not particularly great either. I'm not sure what is meant by atmosphere because neither of those places have anything remarkable there. It's about like going to waffle house or Dennys I guess. Like there's a table and some chairs so you can eat with friends. I don't know, maybe some pictures on the wall. I can get that at any place though, or home for that matter.
It makes me wonder. Are millennials so hard to appeal too? It seems like it would be easy, companies just want to focus exclusively on boomers. Not a terrible model in the past but 20 years from now they can't complain when they go out of business. It will be easier in the long run to provide what customers want instead of convincing us we want what they think we should want. It's like someone took an intro to marketing class and somehow misunderstood the most basic shit. Advertising is visibility of what people already want, not a magic wand that's makes you magic want.

I prefer Cheddar’s

This

7/11 is no longer useful after dropping Arizona Teas, lets make them sleep with the fishes

based jesus

not gonna lie I love some shit tier fast casual dining. chili's is where it's at though

applebees is ass last time i went niggers hollering waitress fucked up my order and everything tasted like generic slop.

BWW... lets be real, chicken wings are shit tier food. You have to be kind of low IQ to enjoy eating at a wing restaurant... but okay, I'll bite, let's say it's your 'thing' or whatever (personally I think wings are just forced into our culture by corporate overlords as a social food staple that most people actually do not like. Let's face it it's a fucking mess of a food) how often are you REALLY going to want to go to BWW? they market to come here for game day or whatever, but everyone knows sportsball has been on the decline. All businesses that cater to it will inevitably suffer as well. But my point is, it seems unsustainable. Maybe I'm cynical and jaded, but a lot of these chains just feel rotten to the core. very corproatized and bland

What’s special about them?

i think applebees and mcdonalds get their food in frozen bags from the same factories. just add hot water.

you're never going to space anyway, why do you care

over my dead body. i eat three meatzzas per day and tip heavy (200%) to management, corporate, and the wagies

Yeah let me just eat at a souless franchise where the food is worse, more expensive and not "special"/unique instead of an actual restaurant owned by humans and not a faceless corporation
Sit down franchises are fucking retarded, the only viable food franchises are fast food ones (mcdonald's, pizza franchises, starbucks, etc.)

pallindrome double dubs for tipping corporate

Hard to believe, just because mcdonalds is so much better. Of all your big fast food places like ocharleys, backyard burger, Chipotle, subway, waffle house, Olive garden, etc. Mcdonalds is probably the best. It's hard to fuck up simplicity and mcdonalds understands the beauty of elegance. That appeals to me as an arch Linux user, it's a very pure culinary experience. The spicy mcnuggets lose to wendy's spicy nuggets, but even though wendy's has some hits like the pretzel pub burger they still don't compare to McDonald's hamburger meat and they are hands down the best fries, I'd even call it a tie with five guys if you can get them fresh and not over or under salted. Note that's the regular fries though, the seasoned fries win out just because it's so consistently good while McDonald's is about a 40% chance of coming out right. Five guys suffers the same, meat problem as steak and shake in that it's undersalted and uses a less fatty mix of cuts when creating the blend. A good burger needs to be juicy. Ideally medium rare, but none of the chains offer the choice so that means red Robin or a proper pub. Boomers hate anything that's not well done and the first fast food place to offer normal plain hamburgers is going to explode. I don't know anyone who prefers well done burgers yet that's just about all you can find.
