Bad Boomer Business Advice

When did you realize that the boomer/white trash/low IQ 'business success advice' was wrong? And that to succeed, it's really a combination of social climbing and unapologetic Machiavellianism?

Pic related

>told all my life, "son, to succeed, you have to be willing to do the work others aren't willing to do!"
>you just have to buckle down and work hard, and you'll get noticed

After slaving away like a wagie, I realized something.
1. Doing extra means I am forced to take on extra responsibilities with no extra financial compensation, and if you do get noticed, the most you get is a "good job"
2. People will see you as a doormat

To make a long story short, I read this book, quit my job, fudged my resume heavily, made friends with the right people, and now I'm making 180k y/r as a business analyst at the age of 32

I would say AMA, but just read this book. The book summary, all of the boomer success advice you got was wrong, it wasn't training you for success, it was training you to be a good goy slave

but that's really what boomer advices are all about

I don't know what boomers you hang around then.

literally my boomer grandpa told me to find a sucker on the job, bully him in front of others, put work load on him and blame him for everything; make friends with people that matter and flatter them indirectly;

the reason this book gives you such an edge over milquetoast normies is it takes you outside of the box they operate within. once you realize the rules they follow are fluid, then you are able to break their 'moral codes' that keep them as subservient slaves and move in and out of their world and the real world, giving you a vast advantage over them. normies dont expect low level nobodies to be lying in the same way as their CEOs, so theyre totally caught off guard when they find out their new hire lied about almost everything in the interview but your domineering personality makes it much harder for them to get rid of you lest they be found out as incompetent employees themselves and risk losing their coveted positions.

The book basically says pretend to be a good and moral person, because that is the type that succeeds, while fucking everyone and your morhter over for your own success. user, there is a saying to be sly like a snake and pure like a dove. I would rather be a good and moral person instead of the pretender. Doesn't mean you have to behave in a dumb fashion.

Good job on making it though.

Yes

go read the reviews of this book on Amazon or Audible and youll see normies decrying the book.

"great book if you have no morals!"

this is why its such an effective book, normies have such a moral aversion to the ideas listed therein that they will literally try to ignore the behaviors in front of their face because they assume, if youre from the same country as them, that youre bound by the same moral code as them.

The book is good. If you really want to go down the rabbit hole though I have some further reading suggestions:

>unapologetic Machiavellianism

Don't forget Guicciardini. The Maxims.

I want to invest seriously and fucking learn and not randomly trading shitcoins shilled here. I would love to just day trade or at least earn some money. Where did you guys start? I've read Macroeconomics by Blanchard but it didn't teach me much.
Made a thread about it about how to DYOR and it suddently became a shitposting thread.

so basically just be daniel plainview. you should always remember though that there's someone smarter than you that will fuck you over even harder and you have to stop them from showing up at all costs.

start with 50 dollars, turn it into 100 as practice. check out smg

I’m a brainlet about to seriously lie on my resume (which only includes fry cook experience) because I know a few people that work as analysts for big companies and they gave me some online shit to learn so I can be a BI analyst.

It’s been two months and I know the basics of tableau and sql. They seem to think I should be fine to lie my way into a business analyst position by now but I still feel retarded compared to who I’m imagining my competition is.. what am I in for ?

Is that really a good book? Redpill me on it

Don’t worry most analysts are retarded. I know because I am one

that's in plato's republic.

Its also a lot shorter read too.

Read Murphy, it's on libgen

In the past couple years when I started carefully examining social behavior and began trying to find the most logical conclusions about it without relying on assumptions I had been taught to hold unquestionably.
Also it was in tandem with reading a lot more philosophy so I was getting more accustomed to rigorous, unassuming thinking. Plus I had just come off exploring several extremist mindsets over the past few years before that so I was primed to disregard the status quo beliefs more readily.
100% of morality and advice is absolute bullshit that is designed to get you to serve group interests over your own individual interests. What specific advice or morality a person will try to inoculate you with depends on what "group" they identify with, and are trying to program you to serve.
If you truly acted in your own best interest it would look nothing like the bluepilled advice most people give. You're right, it would be cutthroat, effective thinking that is focused 100% on results. When applied to a social context, this is Machiavellian thinking.

King.

I have no education and no other work experience other than literally flipping hamburders. I have to pretend like I’ve already been doing this for years, do you think I’ll be found out user ?

at least jews have a semblance of gemeinschaft
these books teach you to fuck over your own people

so all you have to do is to be a normalfaggot and an asskisser nice

>NOOOOOOO NOT THE HECKING VOLKIRINO

Thinking in terms of your ethnic identity in 2020 is absolute fucking cope

Machiavelli was a literal nobody

A 120 IQ Italian American has literally nothing in common with a 92 IQ rural retard named Byran. Kinship networks don't exist in America outside of immediate and slightly extended family

Currently at law number 40. Only 8 to go. Phew.
It's been a whole month that I'm on it.
Seriously a good book with lots of historical examples and real-life illustrations.

Ok? Irrelevant

>Be Frederick the Great
>One of the most successful people to ever live
>Thoroughly btfo machiavelli in your "Anti-Machiavel" thesis
>Retards all over the world still fall for the muh italian dipshit who never accomplished shit meme
KEK I can tell this is as far as you'll get in life

This. Fuck your shitty book OP

lol you are such a naive kid, they are viture signaling and the only thing that is preventing them from acting as the book describes is fear
