Probably yeah. I think most people would be able to retire early if they made safe bets from the ages of 16 to 40. I wish I could turn back time and buy a share or two of SPY or QQQ every month since I was a teen.

Weeklies? Yea, you should be scared of weeklies. Don't do weeklies. Hell, don't do monthlies probably either. 6mo/leaps only if you're long.
Spreads? Just open 1 to get used to it, you'll find soon enough that spreads are a pretty consistent way to grow your bankroll though as long as you don't open too many and get btfo'd on one swing.
