honestly this is the best combination of NEET and wagecuck one can possibly conceive of. ive thought about looking for remote only jobs because of this.

We have two chefs working solely for our company that prepare breakfast and lunch for the employees and we're situated in a beautiful building in the capital of my country. Distance from my home doorstep to the doorstep of my office was less than 45 minutes as well.

Nope, I'm in The Netherlands. Plus I work at a proprietary trading firm so our office is always miles better than most other companies in general.

I know it’s not the best but I prefer it 100 times more than waging in person and dealing with crazy coworkers. I’m about to start next week and never felt so comfy about starting a new job. Just going to keep accumulating so I can retire someday hopefully

I've been back to a new job after months of remote and then unemployment. It fucking hurts. Everyone is dumb as fuck. Managers try to show their little authority with stupid things instead of letting you get things done. Smelly bathrooms. Cheap offices and chairs. Crap company computers. Overcomplicated process and timesheets to control your activity hour by hour. Being overqualified for a job, more skilled than your manager, yet having to do repetitive stupid tasks because you're a contractor and that's all your agency could find.

I hate my job, I will either try to find a better position idk where or catch a remote job to not have to deal with those offices monkeys.

I made this promise to myself recently too. And honestly I don't think I could handle it at this point, I was unemployed before the pandemic for a year and got a job right before it started that I've only worked remotely at, so it'll be like 2 years out of an office when this is over
