Question, if immigration is needed to improve growth and the economy than why was Germany’s gdp in 1995 adjusted for inflation greater than its current gdp? Germany is 30% foreigner and has had an influx of immigrants since 1995? France and UK have slightly better gdp today than in 1995 but not by much and they to, especially France had lots of immigration in the last 25 years.

Well back then it was easier and there were work arounds, now it’s tougher of course but the main way to immigrate to Canada is to apply for a college or university and then apply for citizenship when you’re done. Many pajeets and Chinese are doing this. It’s very expensive so either they aren’t the bottom of the barrel in their respective country or their families pooled up money from saving so they can get their son in Canada and eventually have him get citizenship and then chain migrate.
