xBTC does literally nothing, rebase mechanism is just to fool people into buying something they don’t understand.
Tl;dr for people who don’t know what it means:
>you own 1000 tokens that are worth $1
>50% positive rebase happens, you now own 1500 tokens - nice!
>but wait, token is now worth $0.66 and your stack’s worth didn’t change at all
That is it. If the rebase is negative you lose tokens but the price also goes up, value of stack remains the same.
People who don’t understand this should not be in crypto.
