Hey Zig Forums I might be putting some money into crypto soon (around 10k, depending on what I can afford). I was thinking about buying 1k worth each of a bunch of shitcoins, what do you guys think? Just some random low to mid size market cap coins, up to 100m. For example, STA, VIDT, DEV, DEUS, KAT, XSN, etc. Would this be a good way to make money or should I instead opt to consolidate my portfolio and hold the top coins like BTC, ETH, LINK, XMR, BTC SV?

btc is the safest bet for newcomers. I'd have half in btc and use the rest on shitcoins. If you're overdiversified with shitcoins, your losses will offset any gains

Depends how you wanna play. I'd advise you to play it safe since you're new and halve it between BTC, ETH, and a shitcoin of you're liking(don't ask me to recommend you one).
