I forgot which video it was, I think it clicked for me in 2018 after I watched it. I bought in Dec 2017 cause 1000 EOY meme and just kept holding. The memes and community were organic versus the current biz cut and copy meme spam that attempts to mirror Chainlink. But what really sealed the deal was a video where Sergey something to the effect that he had been working on this problem for 5+ years.

This wasn’t some sort of WaBi QR code China hustle bullshit, or XRP labs software that costs more to operate than current protocols, this was a guy who assembled and is advised by some of the smartest people on the planet and had a legitimate vision to provide the best, secure, and open source middleware component known to man.

only way to find out is to throw money at the coins that Zig Forums has convinced you to buy

Realistically Satoshi would have created ETH and ETH2 successfully first before making Chainlink if he wanted to make it work.
Or he spent a few years traveling and living a good life after making it with BTC and decided to finish his work..
