Trump took a hard stance against crypto, and I believe it was because of a national misconception that crypto competes with the USD. If POTUS is shilling for the USD, he is simply doing his job.

That being said, Trump gave me tax cuts, signed off on stimulus that actually made it through congress/senate, and unlike biden he will not raise capital gains taxes. The more capital gains taxes I am responsible for, the less likely I am going to come out in tact after my big sell.
