I'm never selling DOT. ETHfans think that rollups will be their savior, but composability hasn't been solved, layer 2 solutions are a bandaid with no adoption, it's just testnets and testnets

you'll think I'm concernfudding but I'm not. I like what I see of polkadot, but why should it succeed where other ethkillers have failed? ETH is a shitcoin, but it has network effect.

The 2020 defi run proved eth is obsolete. Eth 2.0 might fix a lot of the congestion and problems but I doubt it but even if it did, its 2 years away at the earliest. Think about where dot will be by then.

EOS is ahead of dot
Algo is ahead of dot
Tezos is ahead of dot
Lol dot

If leo is Dot, who are the other turtles?

Eth the most used

Splinter remains the master. Just bought more eth cheers OP

>EOS

LOL

Hold to -90% then. What do I care. It's not like PlotX is launching tomorrow or anything.

Please spoonfeed me DOT.
DOT does not have smart contracts. If you want to do smart contracts on the ecosystem, you do them on one if the chains DOT is connected to (like ETH) and pay the fee with the coin of that chain. DOT is just a bridge between chains that can do simple transactions transferring data. Or you could use some other existing bridge between the parachains, that doesnt have a token attached to it. DOT also has staking, which is made possible by massive inflation.

how does massive inflation have anything to do with it? they did a redomination, the market cap was unchanged.

Just bought more DOT cheers OP

I am not talking about the redenomination. I dont care about it at all, it doesnt change anything.
I am talking about the 10% yearly inflation they are targeting. This is where the high staking returns are coming from and going to keep coming, but the value of the DOT coin will start to fall.

How is it unsustainable?

I am not saying its unsustainable. It wont crash the network or something. But it will eat away the value of the coin.
Prople are ignoring my more important arguments still. I need to be pilled.
Why will a glorified bridge, that may or may not be used by its own parachains, that doesnt have smart contracts, should capture a lot of value of the whole Polkadot ecosystem? If the ecosystem ever even lifts off.

because it scales far better on both levels than any other chain on the market

Agree

Splinter is Sergey
EOS is April

No just dot and kusama

d*t is centralized shit

Explain?

wrong, just bought 100 dot

explain what?
it's delegated proof of stake
with the holders being straight outta the ICO
it's centralized shit like EOS

how come 60% of the suppy is held by over 10000 addresses?

that's a meaningless statistic
if 1 holds 59% and 9999 hold 1% it's still true

go away cat man

60% of the supply is held by 10k addresses and the remaining 40% is held by 6000, you can see this urself

no it's not, there are over 150k holders

someone post the one with BTC where Master Splinter just gets thiccer and bigger

>LOL
lol
