Problem is too many tourists nowadays and too many locals shitting up the place. Also it's getting more developed so there is a lot of construction, traffic, dust, pollution, garbage, etc. It was better a few decades ago. Anyway all tourism is dead for the foreseeable future, especially since SEA shitholes are authoritarian and this Pandemic showed their true nature with the lockdowns. As soon as the flights stopped, so did all the imported dairy, meats and other products. If you eat their cheap food then you are subhuman anyway and should probably stay there forever.
